EDIT: Never mind. I am just stupid. I am using AFT and I have successfully gained Karliah as a follower. I am not sure if the "set UseVanillaFollowQuestKarliah to 0" was necessary or not, but I did try it. Here is exactly what I did, all the bugs I encountered (I do not believe any of the bugs are associated with this mod, for clarity):

    • At the end of the quest Darkness Returns, Karliah would not leave the Twilight Sepulcre. After I left, she still remained put. Trying things like "recycleactor" would place her in Snowveil Sanctum, still in Nightingale armor, and she would walk directly to the Twilight Sepulchre and stay staionary. The cause for this bug is that, somehow, I never triggered the beginning of the Under New Management quest. Returning to an earlier save (and trying several times...), when leaving the Twilight Sepulchre, finally the Under New Management quest was started. Upon fast traveling to the Thieve's Guild and entering, Karliah was in the Thieve's Guild wearing her typical armor.
    • After becoming the Guildmaster, Karliah would still not offer the dialogue option "Follow me." I typed in " set UseVanillaFollowQuestKarliah to 0" and there was still no follow option. After completing the quest (collecting your guildmaster armor from Tonilia), Karliah left the Thieve's Guild and began walking towards Nightingale Hall. I teleported to her quickly using "player.moveto 58F1A", and she was still in Riften. After speaking with her, I did have the "Follow me" dialogue option
In short, there should be no compatability issues with AFT.

tl;dr Complete Under New Management and Karliah should have the option to follow you. If she still does not, then perhaps there is need for the "set UseVanillaFollowQuestKarliah to 0" command.
I am sadly not able to get this mod to work properly with AFT installed. I have tried using the command "set UseVanillaFollowQuestKarliah to 0" as it suggests on the description, but it seems to have no effect.

Is this mod compatible with Anbeegod's Thieve's Guild Alternative Ending?

Hey, love the idea of this mod, just wanted some clarification on some things... using this command "set UseVanillaFollowQuestKarliah to 0"  should restore her dialogue? If so, it's still missing for me... I'm using NFF and RDO, completed Darkness Returns and I also don't have the option to get her to follow me. I'm also not guild master yet, I don't know if that's part of the problem. Would love to use this mod and have her as a follower, but the lack of voiced dialogue kinda ruins it for me haha.

If you've completed Darkness Returns, she should follow you; I don't think loading Dibella's Blessing after this would affect here following you, but it will break some of the other changes. I'll see about adding a patch for Dibella's Blessing to kryptopyr's Patch Hub.

It is with the patch from JK's Guild HQ Interiors Patch Collection, although the most current version hasn't been uploaded yet (you can  it here).
  7. Is this compatible with JK's Nghtingale overhaul?

Possibly. There is a patch available through JK's Guild Patches, or called something similar (you'll have to search for it on nexus). This patch is supposed to reconcile the two mods. I'm using both mods with the patch and everything is fine except that none of the bedroom wardrobes contain the new nightingale armors. So if you really want those new armors, then maybe just use this mod by itself. I'm not sure if not being able to find the armors is a problem between the two mods or just a weird problem in my game. Personally, if I was starting a new game I'd just use this mod.

They're definitely intended to be compatible with the patch.

I made the patch, but's its possible I missed something with the new armors. I'll have a look and update it if necessary.

The updated patch is in the queue for the next update to the patch collection, but in the meantime you can grab it here.

Have Relationship Dialogue Overhaul installed, and I wanted to double-check with you. The thought of swapping the Nightingale set to the next tier up is almost too good to pass up.

There shouldn't be any issues with RDO.

How about Sneak Tools SE Edition? Both your mod and it adjust Nightingale hood to a degree.

Here's a patch for Sneak Tools. It's only really necessary if you're using the Sneak Tools Vanilla Hoods file.

Load the patch plugin after vanilla hoods, correct?

Load order shouldn't matter. The patch adjusts the hood variants added by this mod for consistency with the Vanilla Hoods file, but doesn't otherwise interact with it.

Huh. I guess it will require a fresh playthrough for the new enchantments to show. Still getting Muffle from the new boots at the stone.

Edit: Patch or not, both variants of the hood have the Illusion cost reduction.

I doubled-checked the main file and the Sneak Tools patch, and everything appears to be set up correctly. You grabbed the alternate versions from the wardrobes in the bedroom?

If you're using the JK's Nightingale Hall patch, it's possible the wardrobes aren't patched properly (per the comment chain below this one). I'll be looking into that issue later today.

No. I have just the original Nightingale Forever, Sneak Tools, and then your mod and patch.

Sorry, I'm unclear: did you grab the alternate armor versions from the wardrobe then? The Nightingale Armor Stone is just used to level them.

I did. All the hoods in the wardrobe (mind you, this was a game where I had already completed "Darkness Returns") had Illusion enchantments, but the other armor pieces did, indeed, match up with what was shown in the mod description.

EDIT: I use AddItemMenu - Ultimate Mod Explorer as well to test to see if changes have taken place.

I haven't tried it with AFT, but I'll point you to the section in the description titled "Compatibility with Follower Mods".

would have loved the option to recruit new Members  like a Nightingale Guild   would go well with  this mod

Lore-wise there are only three Nightingales at a time, but this is still a neat idea (I'd love to see recruitment options for all the factions).
