So... I'm adding and testing mods for another full game, one with my style of immersion. I have otters, cats, farm animals, peacocks, and a few others now as well as farts, burps, and snoring. How can I pass up frogs and toads??? I can't. Looking forward to the sounds of them in my Skyrim. Thank you. hmmm... I wonder if the wolf otters will attack them, we'll see.
So do I! But the question is, is it... immersive? I mean, there shouldn't be frogs all year long in Skyrim.... imagine if the mod would be Seasons compatible XD
hello, I like the mod but the sound of frogs near ilinalta lake is to loud, it's just one type of frog, others sounds are normal, I found them near whitrun too. How can i reduce the volume ?

I'm having an issue with wolves with this mod as well! Slightly different though, they just aren't reacting to me at all. I can hit them and they just keep pacing back and forth. Same thing with goats. Only just noticed after heading to High Hrothgar 45 hours in, very bizarre.
gg77, is it possible that using this in conjunction with your Slugs and Snails mod (which also adds several tiny creatures that frequently spawn on most of the map) as well as other mods like Immersive Creatures, Immersive World Encounters, etc which also add spawns could overwhelm the game and affect creature AI?
If I remember right, this mod only changes one record for wolves by adding it to the 'frog faction'. Also, the frogs from this mod belong to the frog faction. No other creatures belong to the frog faction except frogs and wolves. This was done so that the wolves would stop attacking the frogs which was happening regularly. I know because I was the person who reported it back in the day.
I believe your issue is being caused by another mod. Not saying I'm 100% correct, it's just my assumption.
Skyrimer3232, that's actually much closer to real world wolf behavior when confronted by humans, they really aren't the savage beasts that attack everything of popular misconception.
I think a more sensible approach would be to edit the wolves relations to the frog faction and mark them as "neutral" for instance, so no edit to wolves.

i am using the SSE with Companions download. i summoned a frog aa_npcfroga i frazzled its brain enough with scripts and mods so it would be willing to join my group as a follower now i have a frog follower. it's great isn't it..
but this singular follower frog in my group is creating a sound effect that sounds like a whole pond of frogs = I DONT LOVE IT. i don't want to hear that sound constantly and forever the ambient sound of frogs chirping away as my frog follower will be with me endlessly perhaps.
a singular frog should not cause that ambient sound to trigger. i would like to see this re-worked or fixed.
I just Hacked out these 2 files with SSEEDIT. works perfectly now. as i want it to... 0_frogaloop 0_frogAloopdef

i downloaded and tried the No Companions ESL version - worked exactly the same as the ESP version. i deleted those 2 sound files mentioned above, summoned my frogA, turned him into a follower, done deal.. everything is working great so far.
I'm very much on the fence with this mod, as the frog and toad calls are beautiful reminders of my childhood, but the frequency of both frogs and toads are a bit much. If there were a reduced version that populated maybe 1/3 the total number of frogs in the original, as well as reduced the volume of the toad calls by 50%, I think I'd give this one a permanent spot in my load order. But as it is, there things kind of ruin it for me.
