I don't really use 3DNPC in my playthroughs anymore so I probably won't be updating this mod again anytime soon. Here's a quick FAQ, so please read before commenting.
- I don't have any plans to make an "appearance only" version of this mod without the perk/combat changes.
- This mod's compatibility with follower frameworks is the same as 3DNPC's. To my knowledge, all the followers in Interesting NPCs use the vanilla system so it shouldn't cause any bugs.
- If you have an issue with dark face or mismatched textures, please make sure there's no conflicts in your load order (both plugins & loose files). I tested this mod pretty thoroughly & never had any issues like this myself. Common culprits are Vanilla Hair Replacer & Face Discoloration Fix combined with a mod conflict.
- Compatibility with perk overhauls? Depends on the overhaul. Some will just rework the perk itself while others might gut the perk & redirect it to a different record. Works fine with Adamant, which is what I use in my game. See the quote below:
"Any mod that edits an NPC would need a patch regardless of whether it's appearance-only or just makes changes to their perks/spells, AI packages, etc. To my knowledge, there's no edits in my mod that would "break" another. If you mean compatibility with perk overhauls, several vanilla followers (especially from the Dragonborn DLC) already come loaded with tons of perks & some 3DNPCs are no different (i.e. Rumarin). I've tested Vokrii & Adamant in my games with no issues whatsoever since I don't edit the perks themselves, I just added them to the NPCs.
Thanks to all those who enjoyed & supported this mod!

For people having compatibility "issues" with EasyNPC: - In the righthand panel, select 3DNPC.esp and "Set as default" - Pick your preferred face, rinse and repeat the above for all followers - build your EasyNPC merge (assuming you dont have issues from other mods) this'll keep all the new character designs, *but* you'll lose all the cool stat changes. You can retain those with a DIY xEdit patch but im too lazy to explain all that in a comment
I don't think this is an issue with your mod specifically, but when I change their hairstyles in SSEEdit, it looks like they've been hit with the makeup gun. It's not the dark-face bug, and I copied your custom facetint files into the proper MO2 Overwrite folder, so they should be the last thing applied.
edit: Might have fixed it. Solution: Clear all facetint layers in SSEEdit (except skin tone) Open CK -> Actors and use ctrl+F4 to export the bugged NPCs blank facetints Copy the files from Tragedian folder into Overwrite (textures/actors/facegen/facetint) Now it works, for some reason

I dont see him complaining though, your "be grateful" is unwarranted. Where in his comment is he being ungrateful?
