Hi, so useful ! Works pretty well, at least with search option in Additem Menu coupled with ULIB VR and with some field filling using UIExtension VR but not always. By the way my main issue is that it generates huge log file, after about 30 min of play I got about 50mb with few access to the keyboard, any way to avoid this log ? Thanks
Hi I had it working for a good while but now it stopped. Could you please tell me how you installed it, which patch did you add and where in the load order you have it.
If anyones asking still when you install the mod with the patches, the vr keyboard just automatically pops up. I use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68153 and have to name the location i mark and the keyboard just pops up when naming the location. Not sure with anything else..
but i don't know if your vr set up has this but in game when hitting "system" and then the display of your pc you can see the game running in a little window,
from there you can activate a virtual keybord by hitting "B" (the upper right touch on joycon) and it's working as you play on laptop, nice for consol command or mods that requird keybord
Finally I got this working!. I've always wanted to use the mods that let the dragonborn have their own children in vr but the problem was it wouldn't let me name them and it would lock the game up. I finally got this mod working(i didn't install the UI patches at first) and it is a god send it works perfectly. Thanks so much
Same problem with recent posts here. I'm running 'Conquest of Skyrim' which need me to type in a faction name. I downloaded 'VR keyboard' and UIExtenstion patch since that's what I'm using. Nothing show up and I can't use keyboard like I normally do with console command. Running FUS on Virtual desktop and Steam VR.
EDIT: Okay I got it to work with Conquest of Skyrim. It turn out I needed the UILIB patch not the UIExtension even though I'm using UI extension. I think because Conquest of Skyrim uses UILIB instead. Some file from there overwrites CoK. But yea, just download UILIB patch after and you're good to go.
Can you tell me how you got it to work? How do I download that UILIB patch? And what do I press to activate the VR Keyboard?
Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work! I didn't see the UILIB patch is on the front page of this mod! Also if someone doesn't know how to manually download the github file, just drag the zip to Vortex and it will automatically install. It is also recommended that you install Papyrus Extender and VR Address Library!
Two questions : Can I install both UIExtensions vr keyboard and UILIB_VR_Keyboard as some mods use UILIB and other UIE ? I have BBLS installed (Bathing Beauties or Beefcake Luxury Suite) and outfits rooms fullfilled. Something strange occures often, when I enter text for anything that doesn't rely to BBLS, it says that an outfit profile for BBLS has been modified but the mod for which I enter text remains unchanged. Any idea ?
I have a problem running this when I stream to Quest with Seam VR Link. If I activate the keyboard in SkyUI inventory I can type, but when I finish the text is not entered into the SkyUI search field, the cursor is there, no text and all the buttons on controllers stop working. I can't do anything, I'm stuck in the inventory.

Installed near top of mods order :
VR Keyboard
UIExtensions VR Keyboard after UIExtensions to overwrite it
Installed near bottom of mods order :
ULIB VR Keyboard
