Please refer to this article before actually reporting a bug in the bugs section! I can't help you if you don't provide me enough information; the only thing I can do to keep other actually valid reports in check is to flag uninformative reports as "not a bug".
Steam Deck Users: This does work, but you will need to update your x64 Visual Studio in the Skyrim compatdata path. Don't worry! This is very easy to do and very fast. First, go to desktop mode, of course. Download the executable from Microsoft here. You want the x64 one under Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022. To run it, right click and choose Open with Protontricks Launcher. I know you have this as an option (likely the default one) because otherwise you wouldn't have SKSE working on Steam Deck. It will ask which Wine prefix to run it on. Obviously, choose Skyrim (489830). This will take, like, a second to install. It's fast. Now you can launch the game and it will stop complaining that ValhallaCombat.dll won't load. Because it will load. It will load and work and you will be happy.
This unfortunately didn't work for me. It's still complaining. Not only that but apparently mcm helper and TrueHud can't either. Does this method work with MO2?
Get the Linux MO2 and install it for Skyrim Special Edition, but ignore it telling you to use Proton 6.3. Skyrim runs like trash with that Proton version. Use the most recent Proton GE and this all works fine. I do recommend forcing a specific Proton version even if you don't use GE, because you'll need to repeat this all if you ever switch Proton versions, plus delete some stuff. Set a Proton version and plan to never change it.
For some reason my valhalla does not pick up true hud which then makes it not work, anytime i try to parry nothing. I've tried everything and yet it still won't work if anyone could help me that would be amazing.
I love this mod and I really wanna use it forever, but while testing my load order I am noticing that when I am using this mod I get random crashes whenever I die and the game reloads my last save. Anyone else? It could be other mods I have but I just did a playthrough without Valhalla and I died many times without issues.
Is there any possibility of you creating a patch for exercise/exhaustion? I am running into two game breaking bugs that:
1. The perfect parry restores stamina beyond the temporary maximum stat set by exhaustion/exercise 2. A bug where the debuff of Valhalla exhaustion not going away when stamina is restored to it's maximum (including when resting and deleting the exhuastion and exercise mods outright)
If you could please make a patch for this or point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thank you.
I'm using the mod and everything works great, except that attacks with any weapons do not do any stun damage, but perfect blocks still deal stun damage. Any idea what might be interfering with that system? And when an NPC stun meter does eventually run out, execution on hit does not work either.
Is there a way to change stamina consumption to beginning of animation not when it ends after recovery animation ? It looks silly in my opinion and is unintuitive, I often mismanage my stamina usage, I got too much familiar with Elden Ring style gameplay I guess
does this happen only when u miss attacks or even when u hit the enemy? I don't notice any stamina consumption at all during Light Attacks, only when i turn the Stamina consumption on miss attacks setting on.
For some reason I can only do standing power attacks and sprinting forward power attacks? normal forward power attacks and sideways power attacks just don't happen for some reason, i had to noclip through the door of bloodskal barrow in dragonborn dlc because i couldn't do the sideways power attacks to open the door

Do the above stuff I wrote to update VS.
If this is what you did, it should be working.

edit: nvm, i'm stupid. i was testing light attacks and they have a 0 stun multiplier in the mcm by default
