*Forgot I wanted to give Skaal Hunters gloves. Backback update 1.1 they now have gloves.
*Per player request, the ESL version of Ghosts of Tribunal, that previously was a just a robe fix and craftable robe plugin, has been updated to include outfits for players wanting to customize the outfits with other mods (shoes, jewelry, whatever).
Note SPID creator powerofthree says this: "Outfits are baked into saves, and NPCs would need their inventory reset in order for the outfit distribution to override the old outfit." What he is saying: if your NPC refuses to change their outfit mid-game, open the console, click the NPC and type resetinventory then hit enter. You may have to save and reboot as SPID is low-impact and only distributes things once at game start.
I don't know why people are saying this doesn't work it's working for me perfectly fine if you ever update the almsivi plugin could you make it so the House redoran guard's have a chance of spawning with the redoran watchman helm that would be great.
"this is not working like that, Distr files wihout esp do nothing"
Did you try the mod before you posted? I imagine you inspected the files, you noticed some have an esp and some don't, and you say to yourself THIS MAKES NO SENSE and came to ask me. Yes?
Here are quotes from the mod description you may have overlooked.
"Main mod uses premade creation club outfits" I use premade outfits already in the creation club. No need for me to add new plugins with the same outfits. I only used new plugins in the optionals, when I customized new outfits or modified outfits. - To simplify, the Distr files use the creation club 'esp'.
"A few options do not require SPID.....optional downloads use ESPFE/ESL plugins" For the backpacks, I modified outfits with a backpack. I did not assign newoutfits to NPCs, I only modifiedthe outfit data. This did not modify NPC data, so there is no gray face bug or conflict with face/body mods. There is nothing new to distribute, therefore Distr file unnecessary. No new outfits, only modified. - To simplify, sometimes SPID/DISTR is not necessary. I note these files in 'optionals'.
This mod allows you to pick and choose only the CC content you want, mostly without the need of extra plugins.
Finally someone did it... Tamrielic Distribution doesnt use SPID so it's super incompatible for large Load orders and patching it is just redundant when this is much better and simpler way to go about it... Thanks
Hello, sorry for my late reply. Did you ever find an alternative? I took a break due to covid, so I do not know if anything released works for VR users?
Distributed records should be written to an ini file containing the suffix "_DISTR", in the Data folder (for example, MyMod_DISTR.ini). They should follow this general format:
Saw you commenting on other stuff with creation club modding in VR i think lol. We are modding the exact same path, i am just one month later on this course
I hear you. If you are interested in tweaking and customizing, there are 3 mods already on nexus that use plugins. Their outfits will be slightly different, but there are versions for pirates, for dark elf/solstheim (which goes more in depth with guard outfit changes), and vigilants (which I didn't touch).
I almost went with a plugin version for solstheim, as I experimented with different hats and shoes, but wasn't happy with the results so I stored it and provided this plugin-less version for now. Note that you can remove any NPC from my list (I have a guide on this in my other mod), but there is no outfit tweaking unless I make plugins.
I am currently experimenting with guard armors. I know Cutting Room Floor provides Windhelm guards with the unused basegame sleeves, but I like sleeves at Winterhold and am testing the unused capes in the Civil War Champions on these guards and Solitude.
I'm working on an esl version for the solstheim mod Ghosts of the Tribunal, to include jewelry with some outfits. This will allow you to customize the outfits to the individual. Well, the plugin is actually made, I'm just exploring more options to see if I can fit more into the plugin before release.

*I highly recommend Kartoffel's Creation Club Anniversary Cleaned and Upscaled, or HeartAttackMan's Anniversary Edition and Creation Club - Everything Upscaled.

Also, possible SPID crossbows?
VR Users can't actually use all the other distributions, since we have to change the ESL files to ESM, so your mod is a blessing.

Do we put them here: data\skse\plugins ?
They should follow this general format:
Spell = formID~esp(OR)editorID|strings|formIDs(OR)editorIDs|min/max level,skill(min/max)|gender/unique/summonable|NONE|chance
Items have their own specialized format:
Item = formID~esp|strings|formIDs(OR)editorIDs|min/max level,skill(min/max)|gender/unique/summonable|itemCount|chance
