Yeah, I ran ESPFE Follower - Eslify facegen and voices on v.1.0 of this mod and it easily compacted/ESLed it. No cells or scripts. Doesn't seem to be many patches. Good candidate for ESLing.

Cool mod. Finally saw it in game. It has a pretty dramatic conflict with Ancient Land, though. The tree is growing right up through a giant stone "norrubblepiec03" ruin thing. Could not find a patch on a fast search.
So, I edited the meshes & textures. About the textures, I made the bark much darker (it's too bright ingame) and I added the bark's texture on the branches - to be matched. About the mesh, I made the tree much much bigger (I wanted to make it also too much taller, but I couldn't do it in Nifskope - it resizing the mesh completely, not only in height) and I added 2 more branches' meshes (the original has one branch mesh and looks a bit 'naked' ingame).
I wish I could make it much taller (lets say.. 50 feet tall!); but using Nifskope, I could resized it only 'globaly', in both width & height - and it's getting too thick. Also, I wish there was lods for it; I guess, running DynDolod will create for it? Dont' know, I'm using only the xEditLOD tool. Here are the files if you want them:

I hope we can get a 3D LOD for this some day. DynDOLOD just doesn't know what to do with this tree, the billboards it creates are noticeably terrible.

The tree IS HUGE (by default)! I wish it was... much bigger, to remidns the "Yggdrasil'"...
