I did have a missing bandit at Whiterun: White River Watch. I think I cleared that cave right before I got the quest from the Jarl, so this would be my fault.
In any event, I figured out how to move the quest along and would like to share with other mod users: First, identify the stuck quest: Using console: "~" help BQR << all Bounty Quest Redone names will be displayed help BQR_whit << Only Bounty Quest Redone in Whiterun will be displayed help BQR_whit_whiteriverwatch << this was my location. I selected it just to make sure I had typed it correctly
I must compliment the very nicely named quest variables! It made finding my location easy!
Second, increment that quest to the next stage getstage BQR_whit_whiteriverwatch << returns 10. This is the current stage. A lot of quests in game have 10 as the stage where the quest has just started. 20 will often be the next stage. setstate BQR_whit_whiteriverwatch 20 << Set the next stage, which is 20. This immediately gives the message to "report to the Jarl" and collect the bounty. Sweet!
Other people have inquired about the compatibility between this mod and Headhunter over the years, but no results have been posted. Here's what my own tests reveal:
The mods don't break each other. However, that's because the two mods provide bounties differently. Headhunter makes an addendum to the vanilla bounties, while this mod provides new bounties. Bounties provided by this mod do not follow the Headhunter rules. That is, BQR quests don't give you the option to spare your marks or take their heads. Meanwhile, Headhunter/vanilla bounties will; you just can't pick and choose them or adjust their rewards like with BQR.
You can have both installed at once, but it doesn't merge their properties. You'll still be stuck choosing one bounty type over the over, so you may as well just pick one mod.
(I recommend Headhunter for if you're playing a goodly character who prefers justice to money, and BQR for characters who like looting/killing)
Hi there, i have a small question about this mod. Are the bounties a one time off kind of thing or do they reset with the dungeon?
For example: i clear out Redorans retreat, then i claim the bounty for it. After x amount of days that dungeon resets. Will the bounty be available again as well?
i like this mod can't play some mercenary roleplay without this mod, i also wonder is this mod compatible with headhunter ? because even tho i get the quest i chose i do not need to get the bandits head as proof kinda breaks down a little immersion
I'm using this mod and i got all bounty quests (for bandits and giants) from Ognar, then i would got quest from Amren, but after his argue with his wife i had no dialogue to start this quest. When i loaded a save before getting baunty quests and first go to Amren all worked fine but i cannot start playing from this moment because it was too long ago
Update: i found out max. 8 radiant quests can be active until this bug occured
I got all quests from Orgnar and i cannot get quest from Amren (no dialogue). When i don't get bounty quests from Ognar i can get quest from Amren so it's a mod issue
