I have no flipping idea how to even get this to work... Downloading/installing directly to Mod Manager (Mod Organizer 2 in my case), the little pop-up box says "The content of <data> does not look valid", but me manually setting any of the folders as the Data Directory does not work. Downloading manually then putting the .7zip into MO2's download list, same thing happens. Am I supposed to unzip it, then place it into the game's Data folder..?
Some installation instructions in this mod page's Description are necessary. Or does it just not work for me because I am on downgraded 1.6.640 game version..?
Make sure that EFFCore.seq is within SEQ folder in the Data folder, so the file structure would be Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Seq. I don't think the mod is game-version-dependent, at least not by way of installation. I do not know much about MO2 as it has been a long time since I used it, but I just tried installing it via Vortex 1.11.0-beta and it gives no error.
If by "does not work" you mean the dialogue does not appear even if the mod installs correctly, make sure the feature is enabled via MCM -> EFF -> Features -> Menu Mode set to Dialogue.
I'll lay out these contexts to the Description page when I can.
With mod organizer the seq files are in the mod folder not the data folder. I don't know if that would make any difference. It's probably due to MO's noninvasive way of setting things up.
Awesome! Learned something new today! I have been a long time user of EFF and I am hesitant to jump ship to NFF. Thank you for taking the time to put this up.
Yeah I've noticed that requirement before and I've included a seq file for one of my own mods. But it seems to be missing in a ton of popular mods (e.g. Spell Research, Engarde, Frozen Electrocuted Combustion...) even though they contain start-game enabled quests. I guess I've never noticed problems because they don't have scenes or dialog in them? In any case THANK YOU for pointing this out for NFF. Will definitely generate my own seq file and download yours so I can endorse. Nice job!

Is it somehow possible to bring them (the questmarkers) back?
