Hey, I'm pretty bad at this modding thing and I had an error. I had the error "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp" requires master "ccBGSSSE001-Fish.esm" to be loaded before it. Other people had this error, but I didn't really get what they were talking about. How do I fix this?
I have been trying to do just exactly that for a number of hours now. They seem to think that I will know intuitively where the SSELODGen discussion is among all the SSEEdit posts there are.. I am not asking them to change anything I am just trying to find out what the command line arguments are and where to enter them. I tied entering the same lines in SSELODGen in a shortcut the same as I did for SSEEdit but that did not work.
Could you put the message rename to TES5VRLODGen.exe on the front page in the description for the mod to help other people like me (who reinstalled skyrim to see if that would get this to work) who may be confused why it isn't working?
simple question: How install? copy all into /data/? or into Skyrim Special Edition\DynDOLOD\? and: If use DDL 2.98, DynDoLod along with SSE 1.5.97, DDL run after SSELodGen? (what for modders often seems to be logic is not automatically logic for users being not familar with it)
From the description: Make sure to install TES5LODGen outside of Program files folder, somewhere with write access rights, or run as Administrator.
How to use DynDOLOD 2.x is explained in its documentation included in the download archive. If you have questions how to use it use the official DynDOLOD support forum.
The problem/question of this sub-thread is where to install SSELODGen. DynDOLOD is not required to decide where to unpack SSELODGen to.
Common sense when posting: Search and find posts that actually match your problem or create a new post instead of replying to random posts about entirely different problems. First describe the problem and provide as much information as possible about it before listing what was tried to resolve the problem.
Sorry to come across as a bit nippy but it's frustrating.
I only want to generate new lod for 4 cells and I go round in circles. Trees don't seem to be a problem. It's the object and terrain that doesn't work.
Hi, can someone tell me what's the difference between the SSELODGen and DynDOLOD ? I have the newest DynDOLOD, is it necessary to use the SSELODGen?? thanks a lot!
All of the is explained at https://dyndolod.info, https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions and https://dyndolod.info/Help/xLODGen xLODGen terrain LOD beta is the latest beta version where the current development and new features are tested before they are merged back into official xEdit and xLODGen releases. DynDOLOD is the advanced and easier version of xLODGen for drastically improved tree LOD and object LOD generation plus many additional features for the Skyrim and Enderal versions. Generate terrain LOD with xLODGen before using TexGen and DynDOLOD to generate drastically improved tree LOD and object LOD.

Use the latest https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/13451-xlodgen-terrain-lod-beta-94-for-fnv-fo3-fo4-fo4vr-tes5-sse-tes5vr-enderal-enderalse (or at least the latest SSEEdit).

Use a recent version of xEdit or xLODGen terrain LOD beta (intuitively read its readme.txt). Use a modding guide.
The discord channel for xLODGen is intuitively named #xlodgen-support.
Background Loader: Too many plugins selected. Adding 613 files would exceed the maximum index of 254
Use a recent version of SSEEDit, xLODGen terrain LOD beta or DynDOLOD. Use a modding guide.

IS there no other download source for the file?
What browser or which website an archive is downloaded from, does not change how or where to unpack it.
A sledgehammer to crack a 4 cell nut but a brilliant piece of work.

The above answer to this question is still the same as it was in July last year.
Nobody ever gives any real help in on any mod problem on any mod.
just its already been answered.
There's something wrong with the download location website.
All I get is a swirly thing.
I tried two different browsers on my main pc and a separate laptop.
Mega is crap.
It's so frustrating.

Trees don't seem to be a problem. It's the object and terrain that doesn't work.
The only source of your frustration is your PC or browser being unable to download a file from the Internet. Fix it.
