Someone pls just disable the animation, collisions (or make them heavy so they don't roll) and make the small ones a bit bigger and it's the best gem replacer on nexus
the mod, Spherical Soulgems SSE - Particle Lights for ENB resolved this issue on the FOMOD installer, honestly I love this replacer, I was willing to download it again even with the soul germs being always where they should not be, but this fixes the issue, well, I still need to test it to be honest
Yeah, I really love these but had to stop using the mod because I reached the end of my rope for jumping up and down ten times just to get the soul gem out of the holder on the top shelf of bookcases. if someone could lower the sides of the holders it would be perfect.
Hm... now I'm wondering how the game sets up the holders. Like, are the gem and the holder spawned together as some sort of combination? If that was the case it might be possible to set that back to using vanilla gems. It's bethesda tho so I'm guessing they're actually hand placed and I would have to go in and set each one manually. Might poke around in xedit later an see what's what.
Replacing soul gems? That sounds like collision nightmare. Seperate items to collect makes more sense with passive abilities when held or active. They look cool though.
Why did you bother if it's terrible lmao. They are beautiful and I wish I had the patience to do what I said. Learning experience I guess, nice one lol
Hello FishBiter, I'm loving this mod, but I believe it caused an unpredictable conflict with this mod: Soulbug In A Jar.
The jar is supposed to spawn on a table in Valerica's Study, but when I went to collect it, a soulgem holder with a soulgem in it was on the table instead. I tried deactivating this mod with NMM, reinstalling the old one, and reverting to an earlier save, but I can't get rid of the holder and the jar won't spawn.
Is there any way you could help sort this issue out?
P.S. I made the Soulbug in a Jar's creator aware of the conundrum I'm experiencing just in case.
Ah, gotcha. I figured it was a possibility the container was already there, but I wanted to check to make sure it wasn't this mod. I'll try to get this sorted out then.
Edit: The other mod creator released a new version of his mod and moved the jar, so I was able to collect it. All good now.
As I said before, this is a wonderful mod. Kudos to you for providing a much-desired and fitting stylistic change to Skyrim.

see i use it in skyrimvr and it was just a black ball, sticking it into my eyes to clip into it i could see the colors
so i opened it in NifSkope and found the layers
Fx_sphere04
Fx_sphere03
Fx_sphere02
Fx_sphere01
layers were too dark but i found by turning this value in this screenshot to 1 they started looking pretty slick.
its a cool mod and it looks great in vr holding a spherical soul gem then throwing it like a basket ball lol
Nice find hatter123forgetful, I also found that if you submerge them into water they change colour too.
