Great mod! I had to use the easy patch though. For some reason, the secret client is actually gone turns out she ran away far from the original spot. Probably an attack near the area made her flee
There is a conflict with M'rissi's Tails of Troubles,Completing the quest First Lessons will not unlock College Curriculum when you are in M'rissi's quest,Perhaps the quest caused Colette Marence to be disabled,So you won't unlock the quest College Curriculum. But after completing M'rissi's Tails of Troubles, you can unlock College Curriculum by completing the first lessons.
My pessimism about having to setstage through the entire College Curriculum quest was premature. I setstage to 21 (SetStage COW_CentralQuest 21) and the quests ran normally, with appropriate quests and quest markers, after that, all the way through the start of the Saarthal quest.
The one thing I think is still glitched is a quest showing in Journal for "Speak to Tolfdir to see if he has more lessons for you." I thought that this was part of the College Curriculum quest and should show completed. I also note that setstaging seems to have bypassed "Study Waterbreathing" as I don't have any "Waterbreathing" spell.
The quests were very enjoyable and lore appropriate.
Wanted to report that the problem reported here was entirely my fault. I had the AYOP - College Quest Expansion patch before the AYOP - College of Winterhold patch. Reversed and reverted to a save before I joined the college. After First Lessons, College Curriculum started automatically.
Hi - After Adara is admitted to the College, her outfit is the mage outfit from BD Armors and Clothes, including a miniture version of the 3BA body with physics. Am I doing something wrong? I notice that there are meshes for children in the mod in a completely different folder than meshes for the BD mage clothing for adults.
Once you've enchanted the sword, take it back to the tutor. He will (a bit rudely as is his way) then ask you to deliver the sword to the client. At the same point, he silently adds a note to your inventory that you need to read so that the quest marker updates and points you to the next point.
I had the same issue. I think you might need to leave a little time between disenchanting the dagger and then enchanting the sword or possibly that there is a requirement to have read the suggested book. (Just realised I also use a custom echanting table mod so it could be that or a timing issue)
In any case, if you open the console (use the tilde key "~") then check the current sequence/stage "sqs cow_enchantment". It should have a "1" against 20 or 25(?) and the rest should still be "0". If you then enter "setstage cow_enchantment 30" it will recognise that the sword is now enchanted and progress the quest.
If anything further down the sqs output is marked as 1 you will likely need to revert to an old save. I tried the suggested "resetquest" fix and while it wiped the sub-quest from my journal, it wouldn't complete the Curriculum quest (6/7) nor would it reassign the quest on speaking to him again. It had marked stage 70 as done (1) but everything between was still 0 and it prevented the whole client event line. Had to go back to an old save...
** Hah! 2 days too late... Thank you jayserpa for a great mod and taking the time to write up the help article!!
There do not appear to be any dialog options with Tolfdir to do so. In fact, I'm not getting any of the College Curriculum dialogue for any of the scholars. i also didn't get the WaterBreathing lesson from Tolfdir. I advanced the quest from there with Set Stage so I have College Curriculum in my journal, but I've talked to all of the scholars and there are no dialogue options for further education.
I have a massive load order so I'm sure there's some conflict but unfortunately, short of setstaging through all the quests, this is unplayable for me. Which is too bad because I was looking for more depth to the College.
This mod is great if you plan on joining as novice mages but it does't make sense for the expert or master level mages. On my current playthrough, i've already maxed out all magic trees (except restoration but already on expert levels) and somehow need to do their lessons also done with the conjuration, illusion, alteration, ritual quests and somehow im still forced to do these. might there be an immersive way for them to recognize your players skill trees instead of just straight up declining them when it comes to lessons? except urag though i think the book one makes sense regardless of skill perks. Love your mods man.
Absolutely love the concept of this mod! I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with script overload during these missions? Every time I am on one or start one, I'm getting massive freezes for 10-15 seconds. Running MGO in VR so if anyone has had similar issues maybe there's something I can do to fix this? I was really looking forward to playing these! Did the first two and they are excellent! In any case thanks to the author for fixing what was a very underwhelming experience in the vanilla game - Hope I can sort out this issue so I can play through them all!

YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!?!"
Tolfdir asked calmly.

Yeah!
Alternatively, any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!
