I remember seeing a mod with similar concern like yours (not WACCF of course) and now I can't seem to find that mod again EDIT: found it again: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/135124 although this one only covers weapons
You should remove "realistic" from the title. One-handed swords, maces and battle axes all weighed about 3-3.5 pounds. A two-handed sword might weigh twice that.
I like the idea of this mod and I think that the changes to weights and values seems good - however the one drawback is that by reducing the value of potions it makes it really difficult/slow to gain skill points in alchemy. If you could change this so that you still gained skill points at the same rate I think more people would adopt it - the smithing/enchanting changes didn't seem to affect the rate of gaining skill points in those as much...
Yes, it slows alchemy skill growth by 4 times. But on the other side it makes teachers more relevant and prevents you from gain too easy money. At high skill level the alchemy craft should be profitable enough = fast enough skill progress.
Unfortunately, I dont know how to make such changes.
Thanks for the swift reply :) I am currently playing a series of permadeath survival games where I play a Khajiit who can only talk to or deal with other Khajiits so no shops, cities or trainers for me :) I don't usually make potions to sell, but I do like to make enchanting/smithing potions - I will probably come back to the mod when I am playing a normal game again :) Thanks for all the hard work - everything else is great about it. Maybe someone will read this and explain how to change the skill learning rate? If I find out I will post here :)
I am on my 7th or 8th attempt - to get to level 81 that way (no quests either just sandboxing - using a random start location with no equipment or gold) - I usually die within the first 10 minutes trying to get to somewhere safe :) Highest I have managed is level 20 - just got melted by a Dwemer Centurion, back to the random start for me :)
Bongo, I recommend installing All Books Are Skillbooks, Leveling Freedom, and Experience so leveling has the base and curve you prefer (if any) and skill levels are utterly divorced from character levels. Setting experience gains for exploring/clearing then tossing in New Lands like Chanterelle make it so you can dictate your growth rate more smoothly.
While restoring sanity to Forsworn/Tribal bows (The latter term for the Chanterelle crowd) and Falmer bows as well, don't forget to actually have the arrows be better than firing stalks of straw. Falmer and Forsworn/Tribal arrows are utter tripe and the latter in particular openly worship Hircine using another name.
Any idea if this will conflict with crafting mods like Ars Metallica or economy overhauls like Morrowind Miscellania or Economy Overhaul and Speechcraft Improvements?
Great mod! It works very well with realistic capacity lol Not so sure about Poise, but I think it helps with less stagger lock which is always good. Is the food addon compatible with Last seed?
