It exports all dialogue, including npc answers - not scenes though

Thank you for this. It works well. I do have one suggestion, it's about the order of the final output.
    Spoiler:
    Show

    In XEdit you'll see:
    Topic 1
      |_ line 1
      |_ line 2
    Topic 2
      |_ line 1
      |_ line 2
    .
    .
    .
    Last topic
      |_ line 1
      |_ line 2

    However the output reads:
    Last topic
      |_ line 1
      |_ line 2
    .
    .
    .
    Topic 2
      |_ line 1
      |_ line 2
    Topic 1
      |_ line 1
      |_ line 2

It's awkward sometimes when going through conversations where the flow isn't right, to get the best understanding of context and meaning.

      Hi, thanks for the feedback!
I'm not sure if it's possible with an xEdit User-Script. Will have a look as soon as possible.

There are lines that could not be extracted. (skyrim_english.strings)
For example (How did you end up as Imperial prisoners?)
? Some lines containing text could not be extracted.

sounds like you are not loading the bsas with strings - it's a setting in xedit.

Can you upload a text file with all lines extracted from Skyrim and all DLCs?No matter how hard  try, there are a lot of missing lines

Is there any possibility that this script could be updated to include the speaker's name or ID in the output? Or better yet, could a variable be added to filter the entire output to only include a single speaker?

Like daniel mentioned, this script could be extremely useful for generating new voices. Having isolated dialogue for each character would be super helpful for mods that introduce more than one NPC in a single plugin.

Pretty difficult, since most lines are not by a specific speaker, but by race or job - or just have the speaker id hidden somewhere outside the line itself.

This mod could be used for unvoiced mods to export dialogue for an Ai voice generation. I am currently gathering stuff to make a guide, how to use AI to voice skyrim mods. Your mod accelerates the progress, thanks.

It should work out of the box.  All versions of xEdit are the same... Just renamed x=TES4/TES5/SSE/FO3, etc...

Is there any way we can import the exported files back into the plugins to the correct spot? Sounds like a stretch (not a scriptor) but thought I'd ask.

How can  use this to translate large mods with thousands of strings?

It exports the dialogue, so you can hand it to someone who doesn't know xedit or the creation kit.
It helps you translating by expanding the amount of people who can help.
