before i make this comment i want to say i love this modpack with all my heart. im doing more in skyrim then i have since november of 2011, but even a diamond can have flaws. and this has two, MAJOR ones that make parts of the game miserable, first up, falmer, already some of the tougher and more annoying enemies to fight, now, without fail, will paralyze you, and whats worse, given the jankiness of the physics engine expect to be flung around at mach 50, if youre lucky youll end paraylsis on the floor assuming they dont infinitely stun lock you with arrows, but id say 95% of the time, youll end paralysis around 50 feet in the air and die to fall damage with no way to avoid it outside console commands to temporarily stop fall damage.
and two, somehow even worse, i find myself in the soulcairn, a fun bit of the dawnguard dlc, the bonemen and the more dangerous bonemen are all formidable enemies that require you to really play around them on higher difficulties. but all that goes out the window as a single mistman appears, they whip out their seemingly endless supply of magicka to hit you with an ice spell that slows your movement speed seemingly exponentially to the point that even in my werebeast form i cant escape the spell, it saps all your stamina in roughly a second and just two of them can sap roughly 1000 health in roughly 4 seconds, youd think these guys would be quite frail, but quite the opposite, dawnbreaker takes a few swings, but theyll likely kill you before you reach them, and my werebeast form that can tear dragons apart in seconds does get this, 20 damage per swing to them! one is enough to kill you with ease, even as a nord, so getting arvaks skull might aswell be withstanding a nuclear bomb as four of them immobilize you and kill you in seconds. keep in mind i am level 40, and even though im soul trapped im evenly matched with everything else in the soulcairn.

i truly love this modpack, but please if you ever read this, consider changing the way these two enemies work, falmer and chaurus are plenty annoying without the threat of every attack instant killing you, and mistmen should not be the harbinger of death, slayers of all who roam the realms, feared by akatosh as the true threat to all existence.

I get this quite often about Falmer.
In my opinion it's not an issue with balancing but with player knowledge. (which may be an issue caused by the modlist but I'm of the opinion that players should be able to figure stuff out on their own without the game explaining all nuances)

The player is supposed to prepare for these Falmer Dens and get an appropriate amount of poison resistance, in this case 50% or higher. This will prevent paralyze effects completely. That is completely intended and to be completely honest I don't see myself changing that fundamentally. (although some small changes will happen with the upcoming patch)

Regarding Mistmen... they are already very much nerfed in Constellations compared to Requiem but I do actually agree that they might be too strong even now. I'll take a note and will take another look at it.

Glad you're liking the modlist overall though! :)
I'd be happy to hear about your experiences with Falmers in-game now that you know that.

i appreciate the speedy reply, ill look into more poison resistance, its just frustrating when you do get paralyzed by a single falmer and not even a cure poison is enough to fight back as you helplessly watch your health drain away. i would highly appreciate you looking into mistmen, i ended up just tanking the difficulty for the soulcairn and even then mistmen were comically overpowered, but for future players and playthroughs id love to not s#*! myself everytime one of those legless bastards approaches a fight. but aside from that this modpack is simply exquisite and i thank you for making it

I uninstalled this playlist and i don't recomend peoples to use it, especially if you downloaded it because the fact they said this modlist is based around Requiem.
If you like Requiem you will hate this modlist...
A lot's of small bug and inconsistencie between the mod for example some of the armors are not took in consideration by requiem recycling, so you end up with some armors you can smelt, some you can't, followers you met in Rivewood will follow you even if you don't complet their unlocking quest (like gorr that will join you even without you giving him a horker stew)
And biggest problem to me, the combo of animations they use + precision makes the AI almost unable to hit you... When i reported the issue, Ixion banned me from the discord... So best is to show you some gameplay footage...

Also tweaking the playlist via MCM is not supported by the dev team, so if you have question about a MCM menu or a setting related to a mod present in the modlist you won't get any help from the discord (no idea what this discord is for so, no support for the modlist settings and you get baned if you report some bugs.

Footage of what combats looks like in constellation...

Sorry not for me, totally not recomend this playlist, especially if you are a Requiem addict...

I didn't ban you. I time outed you for 1 day because you were making fun of my responses.
I'm aware that enemies with daggers have a hard time hitting the player with some attacks and that is something I intend to improve. Everything else works fine.

That's what you wrote "cause actually without tweaking thing to collision via MCM AI are unable to hit the player for example"
This is false information since the only issue is with some attacks of daggers.

I don't help with modifying the collection. That doesn't mean that you can't discuss it with other users in the proper channel. Which you refused to use.

I understand that you're not looking for a proper discussion though and that's fine. Have fun playing another modlist.

No the issue is with dager, 2 handed and even one handed, just watch the video i am almost not moving and they barrely hits me, i was looking for a proper discution on discord when i came to show you this, you told me that everything was tested and working as intended, so i am sorry if what you see in my video is intended gameplay features from your modlist no thx !

"NPC have hard times to hits"
"Yes hard times..." => you have been banned for 24h

Ofc i had fun of your answers, they don't have hard time, they just don't hit ! Watch the video i am almsot not moving and they miss 70% of the time ! So yeah if i am moving they are unable to hit !

And yeah you have to tweak the MCM options and bring the slider i show to 75 almost fix the problem... But don't tell people you don't bring support to MCM option of the mods you use in your list when those mod arn't working without tweaks... Cause sorry, i am telling it again, what you can see in the video isn't a working/tested/work as intended feature for me...

Hi, i made sure to change the skyrim unbound settings to make sure I start as dragonborn and spawned in a dragon to kill but won't absorb it's soul?

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to push a button to absorb dragon souls?

Don't spawn in dragons. It may cause issues and doesn't work properly.

Has this removed the compass markers?
I can't freely explore and discover locations cause they don't show up on the compass, how am I to know where a location is to discover when it's not on the compass, I am using your collection and it's working great, just I have no compass markers for undiscovered locations.

      Yes, that is intended.
Check out the optional mods section on the main page to change this.

I'm interested to try but I have my own preferences on visuals (especially, I like to change them often) and I would like to avoid to download 90 giga of collection. Is it possible to download everything except visuals in some way?  (so I guess that would mean only combat and gameplay)

We don't support that but there is the "Mod Manager Migrator (MMM)" which can migrate Vortex modlists to MO2.

this collection looks neat but it's a bit too taxing on my PC... I don't really care for graphics but I can see that this mod enhances that. Is there some way to go back to the basic skyrim graphics?

There is no way to do that, no.
You can however lower your graphic settings and use the optional performance ENB preset.

Loving the modlist's integrated mechanics and gameplay overhaul, but even on my ROG, the graphics are too heavy. How does one go about lowering the graphics settings? I tried disabling graphic mods/plugins, only to have the game crash. searched through all of the mod configuration settings in-game, and still couldnt find anything to increase fps besides lowering fade distances. Thank you!

As I already said. Only lowering the graphic settings and the optional performance ENB are supported ways to increase performance.
      Removing mods is not supported.

You can configure the graphic settings like you would in vanilla Skyrim, in the launcher.

Hi, I downloaded the collection exactly as stated on the collection page. It works for me, all the mods are loaded correctly and the game runs fine in terms of fps (at 60-70). However I am facing two issues: a) After creating a dunmer character and loading into the actual game, sometimes their face is white instead of purple/grey like the rest of their body, with a visible seam. And b) there are random crashes and they are getting quite frequent. Are there fixes for these issues? Thanks

      1. Save and Load to fix it.
      2. Don't use additional mods, Lower your graphic settings, use the optional Performance ENB Preset. (or ofc upgrade your PC)
