    If I change the stamina cost values in xEdit/zEdit do I need to reboot a save like if I was updating or will it be fine as is?

    Awesome mod! Just what I was looking for. However, would you consider vampirism/lycanthropy conditional and maybe have an optional .5 decrease, or something balanced that can still apply stamina costs to those characters? Thank you for your work on this mod.

    Edit: I realized I can just toggle moving on for non-cursed characters for a bit more realism. Thanks again!

    I'm not a script reading genius, but I am trying to learn . . you say the mod is script free, but I see two scripts . . and this script continously runs

    Hey Dann1c

    I am looking explicitly for stamina cost on shield/weapon bash, one of my mods is disabling it and I want to re-enable it. I don't see bashing listed in the description, could you add that perhaps?

      Stamina cost on bashing is vanilla behavior. I don't understand.

      In the meantime I found out "Elden Parry" mod disabled stamina cost, it is now reported as a bug.
      Disregard my request!

    I wanted to use this mod just for the "spellcasting" option, since I play pure mages exclusively and I wanted to have a reason to avoid the stamina debuffs implemented by survival mods. But I'm not sure if this is fully working for me. When I cast a spell, the mod does consume my stamina as intended, that's all good --  but once I run out of stamina (I checked that I have 0/100), I can still keep casting no problem. This sort of makes the stamina depletion just a cosmetic thing in my case, since as a mage I don't really ever need stamina for anything. Is the mod supposed to work like this and only consume stamina? I thought it also blocked you from performing your selected actions -spellcasting in this case- if you had no stamina left. If it's all working as intended, would it be too hard to implement the "blocking you from performing the action" part?

    Found a weird bug when running, if i just hold w it will drain stamina as normal, but if i hold two keys like W+D or W+A in any order, it will just stop draining stamina. However, it just happens when running, moving and sprinting works as normal.

    It was working great for a while, then i noticed it stopped working. i was using this for stamina drain on magic use. anybody experience this mod stop working? no matter what i try, i can't seem to get it to work again. it's one of the last mods i downloaded, so it's at the bottom of my load order and i don't think there's a lot it could conflict with. would nemesis mods somehow conflict with this? i don't see why it would, but i don't know. also on new games, it's not working at all.
    *UPDATE* thank god i solved the issue, it was keeping me up at night. for my case, i've been using fenix stamina overhaul, which was having a conflict with this mod. specifically, the CUSTOM regen delay option. once i disabled this option, both mods started working together flawlessly. i use a lot of the features from fenix stamina overhaul, and they all seem to be totally fine with this mod, it was just that one option that needed to be turned off. hopes this helps someone someday if they use these two mods and run into this obscure problem. i think it's the perfect combo if you're trying to get stamina drain on magic attacks similar to souls games.

      I'm having the same problem, it was working perfectly and suddenly it stopped, I already uninstalled it, installed it, cleaned saved games and I can't get it to work again, did you find a solution?

    How might I edit this to only apply the movement stamina cost when carrying certain items in your inventory?

    I am getting the following output in papyrus log:

    [10/05/2023 - 06:36:25PM] Error: Unable to call RegisterForAnimationEvent - no native object bound to the script object, or object is of incorrect type
    stack:
    [None].ConditionalStaminaCostsJump.RegisterForAnimationEvent() - "<native>" Line ?

    stack:
    [None].ConditionalStaminaCostsJump.RegisterForAnimationEvent() - "<native>" Line ?

    Can this be ignored?

      Looks like perhaps the jump script is not tied to the NPCs and the player. When the mod is installed, there is a quest that distributes the spell that references the script. Verify that the drain is instant when you jump, if that is not working, perhaps there is a installation problem. Check the update procedure.

      The mod works fine. If i jump the drain is instant. Its on a New Game.

      Edit: I was just checking Papyrus log out of curiosity. There was nothing breaking the game.

      Do u think that it can be ignored?

    If edit with sse edit can you give quick info on how or where to change the stamina costs?
    For example if i want to reduce the jumping.

    Thanks.

      Jumping cost is on a script. You'll need to edit the script and recompile it.
