Notice for update from 1.0.0 ~ 1.0.4 to 2.0.1 Not safe to update on existing save.
Due to default font changed updating from v2.0.0 to v2.0.1, need to fix font path on Config.toml [Gui] section. font_path = 'NanumGothicBold.ttf' to font_path = 'NotoSans-Medium.otf' Sorry for inconvenience.
Thanks for the suggestions but AH Hotkeys sucks. I used that one for years and it was sooo so buggy, it's why I switched over to this. I use simple outfit manager it does everything I need.
neogulcity you are my hero. YOU ARE SKYRIM'S TRUE HERO !!!!!!!! finally a hotkey addon that... just... works.... flawlessly.... everytime. my modding rage blood pressure is finally dropping and i can enjoy this fking game
Edit... nevermind. stopped working lol. and not only that it crashes my game when saving equipment sets or configuration. another mod for recycling bin
There is a source of this mod on github https://github.com/neogulcity/HotkeysSystem/tree/main maybe someone will want to make a patch update for 161170
I'm not getting any crashes but when i tab out of Skyrim the hotkeys no longer work. (version 1.6.1130), I'm running it in Mod Orgainzer 2 on top of a Wabbajack Legends of the Frost install. This is an amazing mod, i sure hope he shows back up to fix this or passes it off to someone else.
Anyone else got fix for "Open/Close inventory at least once after load game."? Cant get rid of it no matter what i try (re-install etc...) Only time it works when i load save back from 50 or so hours ago and im assuming new game would work but thats loosing massive progress.
I had the same problem. No solutions yet, I'm afraid. Had to load an old save before the problem occurred. However, I pinpoint the cause: somehow at one point, whenever I create a new enchanted item, this problem starts. Even though I created many before. Regardless of the type of enchantment. I recreated the problem repeatedly by loading a save one minute before creating new enchanted item, and it always happens. Suffice to say, maybe there is some kind of limits to how many enchanted items you created in a save? Maybe it no longer works after it reaches certain number? I don't know. I stopped making new enchantment for now and continue playing as usual. I used Nolvus 5, btw. So the version is a bit outdated 1.0.4.
For gamepad/controller, this works perfectly with Auto Input Switch (using Steam controller config to trigger the hotkeys). Very responsive and much faster than Gamepad++. If you don't use keyboard at all, Auto Input Switch is not even required because Steam controller config can still activate the hotkeys by this mod.
Example of how they work together:
Spoiler:
Show
Create two equip sets, eg. one with shield+sword, and one with flame+healing.
Create a cycle set > Add the above sets to the cycle > Hotkey this set, eg. "A".
Open Steam controller config > Edit Layout > Click "Dpad" and edit all 4 to WASD on the keyboard (Dpad Left > A).
Exit app.
RESULT: Press Dpad Left to cycle between shield+sword and flame+healing
Example of using "RB" as HOLD modifier:
Spoiler:
Show
Open Steam controller config > Edit Layout > Click "Action Sets" > Right-click "Default" > Add Layer and name it, eg. Hold.
Click "Buttons" and right-click "RB" > Add sub command > Select ACTION SETS > Hold Action Set Layer > Uncheck "Display name when changed" and "Beep when changed" and Confirm.
Click "RB" or "R1" icon near the top left corner (or "RB" on the controller) to switch action set to Hold > Edit A, B, X, and Y buttons to 1, 2, 3, and 4 on keyboard, eg. Y > 4.
Exit app.
In UI-Integrated Hotkeys System (F6), hotkey an equip set to 4.
Tip: Use Skyrim Pad Config to unbind keyboard hotkeys first. Change shout to RB+LB so that they can be used as modifiers. Alternatively, copy the controlmap.txt from Gamepad Plus Plus and modify that with Skyrim Pad Config to your taste.
Controlmap.txt must be placed in:Skyrim Special Edition\Data\interface\controls\pc
