Hello, thanks for this beautiful mod, Your mods has become essential in my Skyrim. I took small fix that adjusts the skirt from your mod. Please allow me to share it here StuddedArmor_SkirtClippingFIX Thanks again!
Unfortunately the meshes from that mod are very different so I have to redo them. I've already finished the female armors and will start on the male ones soon
Always an essential mod, fur shaders are the GOAT and so is this mod! I was wondering if it would be possible to create a patch for Fine Clothes from the Common Clothing Expansion mod? The combination of fur shaders with the detailed textures of Fine Clothing would be absolutely stunning and I think a lot of people (including me) would be very grateful. Thanks again for all your hard work, much appreciated.
I'm digging into why some of these outfits aren't running through Bodyslide correctly, and I've found their osp files are referring to .osd files that don't exist, and/or shapes on their .nif that don't exist.
I think you might have shipped the wrong slidersets for some outfits, these are looking more like mid-body-conversion files instead of a finished product. It would explain why you have no issue with them yourself because these files they're pointing to don't exist on our computers but probably exist on yours. I'm still looking into why some other people aren't having an issue, too.
Most of your bodyslide files are standalone, but some are not. The ones that aren't are loading shape data from base CBBE bodyslide files, so if someone doesn't install those to save space since they're using different bodyslide files? Bodyslide silently loads the slidersets without any shapedata for some of the shapes in the .nif
Either the base CBBE vanilla bodyslide files need to be stated as a requirement, or you need to make sure all your files are standalone.
EDIT: I cannot account for any of the many mods I use; however, I do know that I use only the vanilla body type for females and I haven’t come across any issues with this mod with regard to light-armor types. Just FYI, in case anyone is holding back. Just give it a try.
Download bodyslide and make your own vanilla shape bodies, easily solve the problem...
also the vanilla body is horrible, the feet are blocky, the vanilla loincloth and chest rags are also horrible, there's no reason to not use CBBE in 2025 unless you live with your parents and have a shared family PC
The thing about CBBE is you can change the shape to your liking. It even comes with a "Vanilla" body shape preset. It doesn't perfectly match the vanilla shape, but it would be undisceranable in actual gameplay.
Also the vanilla body mesh is really, really low quality. It was made for the 20 year old Xbox 360 and it shows. If you're after better looking armors then you really should pick up a body with higher quality meshes. Again, the thing about CBBE is you decide how average or cursed the shape is in-game.
I'm having trouble with the CC Orcish Plate Armor bodyslide files. The armor (all 3 pieces) don't seem to be conformed to a reference shape, but when I try doing that myself in outfit studio the change doesn't seem to stick when I save the project.
I managed to fix this by moving my Mod Organizer folders from AppData to a root directory. Unfortunately, I figured this out because I was trying to figure out why the fur armors had stopped conforming at some point in the last couple of days, and this fix for the orc armor did nothing for the fur armor.
