It seems followers can't find path or idle in new purchased properties and they just walk around in place. The thing will back to normal after selling the properties.
Are you referring to the former owners? Well, you have two alternatives: either you let them continue their normal life while you use the home as the owner; or... you know. Regarding the latter, be careful not to kill an NPC participating in a quest you have not yet completed. If you kill someone, write down their REF-ID so you can resurrect them later.
And what MOD did you use to host them there? Why don't you use this:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68153 That MOD allows you to host 128 NPCs in 15 different locations. The same MOD provides activities to the NPCs in the place where you house them and they will no longer remain static.
Another one you can use is: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/88596 The last one is somewhat more extensive. It involves two Palaces where you can house up to 80 NPCs.
I use My Home is Your Home (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7096) to settle my followers,
I also noticed that when followers are under NFF and told to relax(idle), they could idle as normal, but as long as I dismiss them(from NFF), they will immediately lose their way and get traped in place.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68153 Another advantage of that MOD is that you do not need to take the NPC to the place where he will stay. Simply tell it where to go and the NPC will travel on its own. You can have it follow you with any follower manager and when you dismiss it as a follow, it will be hosted back to the site you designated it for. It will remain there until you decide to evict it. I used to use Mi home is your home but since it didn't satisfy me, I made the Live here Plus MOD and it really does what I wanted to happen when hosting an NPC on site.
I have a fixed version of NFF since the "you can relax in this place" depends on a while and then the NPC leaves. Therefore, I found myself always relocating to where my favorite NPCs were. That corrected version of NFF is not published.
If I'm selling the property, I am not going to sell it for less than what I paid for it. I should be making a profit, not a loss. I wish there were a Skyrim Realtor so you could really get a good value for your home instead of trying to do it as a FSBO.
Does this include house that residents are killed in game or abandoned buildings? 1. house of curiosities Wilhelm. 2. house in dawnstar mythic dawn. 3. Abandoned building raven rock. for examples
Yes! Everything inside the house, even the most insignificant object that may have an owner, becomes the property of the player's faction. The mod purposely does not perform any actions with the NPCs that interact with the property, whether they are its original owners or other characters from some vanilla script. If you don't want to see them wandering around your house, you can disable or kill them. Watch out! Do not affect any missions by doing so. If any quest should load an alias on a disabled or dead character, the quest cannot be completed. To complete it, you should re-enable or revive it. Cheers!
Problems that we will solve shortly: * Property keys: they will be inside and must be taken at the time of purchase. * Thalmor Embassy. Entrance to the property.
Just an idea: assign the price of the house depending on its location. You could do this automatically by fixing the price of some specific locations and interpolating for the others.
For example: {Blue Palace: 500.000, Rorikstead house: 3.000, ...}
Interpolating: dn: distance between the house and the nth fixed price dwelling pn: price of the nth fixed price dwelling Used coefficient: 1/dn Interpolated price = (sum_for_all_fixed_price_dwellings_of (pn/dn)) / sum_for_all_fixed_price_dwellings_of(1/dn)
Excellent proposal!!! We are already working on an improvement to the MOD that will include a list of acquired properties and the ability to fast travel to each property. We are going to focus this MOD solely on the purchase of homes with the possibility of being able to sell them (price ¿???) as well. And, we are going to incorporate your idea so that it is not worth everything the same; that was a simplification and it's time to improve it. There will be another MOD to acquire Mines and another to acquire Inns. The idea is that the cells are reset more frequently. We are studying how to generate an extra income... I send you my regards!!
Live Here Plus allows you to mark the location of up to 15 houses. Then you can house up to 128 NPCs (followers or not). You can also see a list of bookmarked locations and fast travel to each one. And, you can see a list of the NPCs staying at your houses and by clicking on one of them, it will teleport to your side.
That MOD allows you to mark up to 15 locations and house up to 128 NPCs there. You will be able to fast travel to each location and have hosted NPCs travel to you immediately.
Hello!! Give me more details Tetrol88. What situation were you in when that message appeared? Is rare. I don't see that message belonging to the vanilla game. Possibly it has origin in another MOD. What property did you try to buy?
Expand! A property developer? Let's say: that there is a variable and random list of houses for sale and an NPC (to be created) that will act the character in different cities?
Why the need of a 'spell' for this? It's quite immersive, allowing you to buying properties. Why not the mod simply letting you to buy estates, without any 'spell' need?
Because you need one pay to get the prompt. That's one way. Could also use a power for example. But some sort of spell is the easiest thing. Using the mod menu wouldn't be immersive either.
Hello! Actually it should be a dialogue between the owner of the house, if he is an NPC, or some representative of the faction if the owner is from a faction. It's not that it can't be done. It would be necessary to do a search and assign an alias to the NPC that would act as an intermediary. A means (spell or other) would always be needed for the player to indicate his interest in this or that dwelling. There the search would begin.

1 being able to buy the house at say a 5% discount if the owners are currently not living
2 an LE version

I bought Loreius Farm and then reported Cicero to the guard.
I recommend another MOD that complements well with this one.
