If you tried the mod before and the quest didn't start, please know version 1.10 solves this issue and it gives you extra ways to start the quest.
Please, keep in mind that the vanilla requirements to start the quest are still in place:
In vanilla you must be at least level 20. (This level threshold might be different if using Timing is Everything or similar mods)
You must have completed the quest "Dragon Rising".
If you have CC plugins installed: You must exhaust all CC "rumors and jobs" from Hulda until you get the quest. This is no longer necessary with this update, as you can speak to Hulda or Mikael to bring up the quest directly once the other requirements are met (Or you can still go through the vanilla route of exhausting those jobs.)

well, i did that and the weapon is locked by quest even though its completed. dunno if it was a skyrim brainfart or bug. cant even reload older save cuz i pickpocketed it like days ago
Just finished the Whispering Door for the first time, was disappointed by how easy it was (Pickpocket 95, got the key first try) and was convinced I accidentally skipped the main quest plot, but it turns out nope, the devs just never finished the quest. So here I am, ready for a dark and twisted quest at 0300 hours because I can't sleep. Time for some murder and lies and betrayal, oh my.
Anyone know how to find Vigilant if they're destroyed? None at Stendarr's Beacon and I'm a Werewolf so some of the spawned types likely will be hostile.
Hey, great mod! Im playing with it every playthrough but this time i got the bug that you suggested might be a result of the ai package for nelkir being overwritten. The thing is, nothing is overwriting it at all and i cant figure it out. Any suggestions?
Sorry, but is it normal that the quest doesn't end? I already spoke to the Jarl and told him that I would keep the sword. But now he asks me to find a standard guard or kill allies (I'm going to get the Oblivion walker achievement but I don't know if I have to have finished the quest)
