All this mod does is replace the audio files from ISC with new ones, this mod cannot technically break unless I forgot audio snippets or unless I put the wrong ones in, but it’s been working for me to this day, so I don’t think I’ve forgotten any or put any in the wrong folders. If you’re not getting any audio in a gallop, I would check and make sure you don’t have anything conflicts with either my mod or ISC and check with the mod author of ISC to see if it’s an issue on their end. Also just disable mine and check and see if you don’t have the issue with the vanilla ISC sounds, if you have the issue still, it’s not my mod causing the issue. If you do still have the issue, and it is my mod, I’ll look into it further with ya. :)
This is a replacer for audio files that are present in that mod. I’m not a wizard lol, I don’t know how to add new audio triggers to link the the audio, so I found a mod that added those in and copied the file structure and replaced the audio in those folders with audio from the Witcher. So without ISC, you’ll just have my audio files installed but they won’t play in game. If you have another audio mod that replaces and expands on horse step sounds, you can technically install my mod, grab those files, rename them what the others are named and put them in the other mods audio folders to replace them with my sounds. I think someone mentioned IHSS as a mod that has horse audio, so you could check that out. But as it stands right now, without ISC, this mod does nothing.
Haven't played the Witcher games (yet, they're definitely on the list), but these are lovely, and I really appreciate ya bringing them over to Skyrim. It really helps with the realism (especially love the water sound). :) And now I'm also looking forward to hearing them in the Witcher haha. Thanks again.
Thank you a bunch for this. I hate the skyrim horse footstep sounds and have done for years but always put up with it. This mod makes riding pleasant again
