Wasn't able to sell anymore after merchants reached 35k gold after i got the speech perks and since i already had a mod that increased their gold but this mod works so now i can sell again. Thanks!
Probably not because this mod was made for older version of SKSE. Just try it, it's not a full ESP mod file or something so it's very likely not going to seriously break your game if you add and/or remove it from your Load Order mid-playthrough. If it doesn't work, get rid of it and then reload a previous save from before you installed this.
Doesn't seem to work on Skyrim VR AddressLibrary.cpp(131,31): Failed to open C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\R\Data\SKSE\Plu gins\version-1-4-15-0.bin.
thank you so very much for this fix it has saved me game as I could not sell to anyone. now I don't have to start a new game I'm now able to make money Yea
I do not own Skyrim VR, so I am unable to test this. DLL plugins must specifically be written for Skyrim VR, however Skyrim VR has much in common with Skyrim SE (game version 1.5.97.0 and earlier). If I remember correctly then Skyrim SE and Skyrim VR share the same Address Library IDs.
So, if the function offsets are the same in Skyrim VR as they are in Skyrim SE, it is possible that the Barter Limit Fix is compatible with Skyrim VR, given how simple the Barter Limit Fix is. It is also possible that it does not load in Skyrim VR because it has not been specifically written for Skyrim VR.
That is to say, you will need to test this for yourself. I recommend that you read the SKSE64 log and the Barter Limit Fix log after you launch Skyrim VR with the Barter Limit Fix installed. The SKSE64 log will tell you whether the Barter Limit Fix has been loaded, and the Barter Limit Fix log will tell you whether the events have been registered.
If that is the case then I would test this in-game by giving a merchant 100,000 gold and then selling the merchant a stack of items worth more than 100,000 gold. If the Barter Limit Fix is working then you will be given all 100,000 gold. Please let me know how this goes if you do test it.
CommonLibSSE-NG is not the magic bullet that you believe it to be. Plugins are written for specific executables, CommonLibSSE-NG just makes it easier to bundle different versions of plugins together that have been written for different versions of the executable.
CommonLibSSE-NG plugins are still dependent on the version of the executable just like the Barter Limit Fix is for example. You would have seen this with the release of game version 1.6.629.0 on Steam.
To support Skyrim VR, I would first need to own Skyrim VR and a system capable of running Skyrim VR, neither of which I have. So, I am unable to offer support for Skyrim VR.
Bummer. I'd totally gift you a copy of SkyrimVR, but its moot since you dont have a headset and PC to run it. :( Thanks for letting us know the details and taking the time to reply! Most appreciated!
I asked alandtse if he'd be able to make a port of this mod for VR, but unfortunately haven't received any response. Probably this task is much more difficult than it would seem.
In case anyone else is having problems with this and the new update--I have no idea what I did but it worked so decipher it at as best as you can. I know nothing about modding.
I went back to a mod I have: [https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444?tab=files] and I had downloaded the Anniversary Edition specifically because it states in the description: " You can have them all installed at same time, game will use correct version file automatically. Updated for 1.6.1170.0" and 1.6.117 is the newest update.
I downloaded the Anniversary Edition via Vortex, and I put v10 to load BEFORE v9. I know it says v2 on the website but it showed up as v9 for me on my Vortex.
Anywho-- I'm still waiting for RaceMenu to have an update, so theres a window that pops up telling me my dll files weren't compatible. This mod was one of them, but not anymore! Again, I have absolutely no clue what I did. I bought a SE key off a website because it was cheaper--I do not have AE. Yet downloading the newest version of the first mod I mentioned, it worked! Strange... Best of luck to the lot of you!!!
P.s. Mod owner, I'm also leaving that there^ because I'm not sure if it truly is a bug or just me and my pc/files... Just in case, ya know? heheh

Works fine with the latest SKSE

Can you recompile this for the NG stuff so its compatible with SkyrimVR and not dependant on game/skse versions?

If Alandtse was down for it, ofc.
