No there wasn't an issue. I just accidentally deleted it when I was checking my mods on my phone a while back. I thought I hit cancel, but Nexus thought otherwise and deleted it. I couldn't find my original files on my PC, so I couldn't restore it.
I decided to download this mod(option 3) instead of an HD dead shrub replacer. Now not only are those ugly dead shrubs gone, the world looks a bit more lush as well. Thank you for uploading!
Thanks! I have completely redone the flora and those stupid dead shrubs were the only thing... Stuck out like a sore thumb. Yuck! Now... They're gone. Was wondering how hard would it be to change option 2 to be everywhere except snowy areas with a 100% chance. I really want to learn about BOS and SPID, but haven't found a good tutorial (OR... I'm just challenged. Yeah... That's probably it.) Regardless, thanks for a great solution to my dead shrub problem!
Hmm...it's been a while since I looked at this mod and I'm at work so I can't see the ini, but I think if you open the swap ini file and remove any lines where dead shrub snow appears, it should do what you want.
If you're also interested in a replacement texture and mesh that still looks dead but isn't as ugly, you can try one of my other dead shrubs and thickets mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/98284
I don't know how I've missed all of your mods but... I'm putting a brand new LO together after a hiatus from Skyrim and these are all really, really good! If you ever decide to put a grass mod together with a green tundra, I would definitely buy you a pizza. (and also use the grass mod...)
Unfortuantely, that's not possible with Base Object Swapper because the branches aren't an independent object. They're a part of the mesh for the logs and trees, so it would require a mesh edit or texture replacement to spruce them up.
HELLO .. im watching your mod. Can u made Flora SWAP mod ? .. so you swap all shrubs and this stuff into some nice mountain flower or somethink like that.. if u are interested i can put names of thoose shrubs and sthis stuff
I'll take a look at other flora items and see if I can find anything that seems suitable. I try to not add anything that would seem too out of place for a region, or would make some items way too abundant.
Renthal Nettle SSE by Renthal & Pfuscher replaces the thicket and snowy thicket with something much less ugly. Although the mod page doesn't specify that's what it does.
For the yellow mountain flowers, there is only a 10% chance that the dead shrubs in Falkreath Hold will be replaced with them. If you want to increase the chance of encountering yellow mountain flowers in Falkreath Hold, open the ini file for this mod and find the following line:
[Forms|FalkreathHoldLocation] ;10% chance of yellow mountain flowers in Falkreath Hold TreeDeadShrub|DLC1TreeFloraMountainFlower02Yellow|scale(0.8/1.0)|chanceS(10)
Change the number in () in the chanceS(10) part to a higher number to increase the chance of the dead shrub being replaced with a yellow mountain flower. For instance if you changed it to 50, 50% of the dead shrubs would be swapped for yellow mountain flowers.
I purposefully kept the chances low because the yellow mountain flower isn't supposed to be super common, but feel free to tinker with it if you want to see more of them.

Was there an issue with the mod?

Needled Tundra Shrub
they are hideous (2D and very low res)
Edit: I took a stab at re-texturing it, if anyone's interested.
Soul Cairn Trees and Shrubs Improved Textures
Thanks. Also I am using Option 3 and noticing all colors of mountain flowers in the fall forest as opposed to only yellow
