This mod leaves the vanilla mesh for the oil trap in place and overwrites the texture file that the vanilla mesh calls.
OIL by Rammccoid replaces the vanilla mesh for the oil trap with a mesh that calls a texture with a different filename.
So yes, it's true they have no conflict, it's only because Xtudo's texture will never get called by the replacement mesh that OIL by Rammcoid uses. If you use both mods, it's functionally the same as only using OIL by Ramccoid.
Nope. "If you use both mods, it's functionally the same as only using OIL by Ramccoid." this is wrong. If you install my mod last it will replace the other mod cloudtileflat_n.dds file. And my mod also affects other things, not just the traps.
The other mod doesn't have a "cloudtileflat_n.dss" file at all. It has a file named "cloudtileflat01_n.dds" that the new mesh calls. Note the "01" added to the file name in the other mod. :)
But as far as your mod affecting more things than just the trap mesh, I wasn't aware and stand corrected.
Particle Patch for ENB has a file that vortex suggests overwrites this, making this mod redundant. Not sure if that particle patch is actually better though :/
God, I have no idea how I missed this miracle, because I was deliberately looking for a substitute for damn oil! Your work is truly the best. Heh, the particle patch for enb makes the oil very square. THX!
Hello, I am a Mod Author for Skyrim on Xbox and I was wondering If I could include this mod into a mod pack that i'm working on. Including this into a mod pack helps console players negate the 150/150 mod limit. I will give credit and link back to your nexus profile page as well. I hope this message finds you well! :)
Hmm I don't use that one but it seems that my mod does the same thing (totally unexpected), but with a much better image quality. So, if you have decent hardware, install mine. Even my 1K version is better.

Surprisingly, they have no conflict, meaning load order doesn't matter.
I use the 2k versions of both mods.

I know it's not very humble, but it's the truth haha.

Thank you so very much for allowing this vision to flourish! Have a very Merry Christmas ??
Oddly this Oil replacement overwrites : Ghost Pile Seam Fix (Skyrim Particle Patch) ??

Can I not bother with the Ghost Pile Fix now you think ?
