I use EFM and not HPH (not asking for advice or complaining, but I can never get it to work right), so it works great. Thumbs up. Nothing makes a person (or a computer game avatar) look like a slack-jawed yokel more than their mouth dangling open.
All races rely on roughly the same set of files so in that way, it does affect other races as well. No changes have been made to anything other than the Orcs though.
I don't really use a bunch of character/NPC overhauls but I do use Total Character Overhaul (well, and Racemenu but that doesn't really count for this question), from what I can tell other than human teeth it doesn't really affect mouths so It should be compatible with this, but is anyone able to verify that? Because i'm one of the seemingly many that would like to play an orc but can't bring myself to do it with the doofy open mouths, so this is an amazing mod for sure but I don't want issues with Total Character Overhaul.
I'm not sure if this mod is the cause or not, but after I installed it all the npcs affected my Bijin warmaidens broke? The body textures stayed normal but the heads got all messed up and I can't figure out what's causing it, because I only added 2 or 3 mods today, and disabling those 3 didn't fix the issue. Perhaps an update to this od so that it only effects orcs and nothing else would be good? At least, if this really is the mod causing the issue. If it is causing it I'm gonna be real sad because this is the only way I can get myself to play an orc.
This mod already only effects orcs and nothing else. You should let Warmaidens sit lower in the mod order if you've installed the FaceGen data in the FOMOD though or orc NPCs changed by Warmaidens will be overwritten. Regardless though, I don't think your situation is a result of this mod as long as it's been installed incorrectly. Head problems are very common in NPC replacement mods so I'm sure if you google around, you'll be able to find a solution.
I'm not sure if it can be considered not-lore-friendly, because in TES Legends most orcs on the card seem to have closed mouths. But that may be more of the art direction to look better than trying to as lore friendly. Same for TES Online, most orc don't have a gap as big as in Skyrim with the upper and lower jaws.
So, personally, I would considered that both are lore-friendly. Hey, maybe it could depend on the regions, who knows.
