2024 Quality Update: A lore-friendly hold overhaul for Whiterun and the surrounding area. Includes 81 NPCs in the Whiterun Hold

This mod overhauls a total of 81 NPCs in the Whiterun area with an emphasis on detailed realistic faces.
The general appearance of NPCs is achieved through a combination of sculpting with Racemenu, Blender and different normal maps.
(A couple haven't been screenshotted for the 3.0a-b version, but if you can think of it, they are probably included)
This isn't a beauty mod.
There are some pretty NPCs. There are ugly NPCs. There are average NPCs. There are aged NPCs. There are young NPCs.
The goal is to make the worldspace feel that it is inhabited by authentic characters. If your favorite NPC's appearance isn't to your taste, you can use EasyNPC to keep your favorites and replace others.
This mod is RSV ready.
However, you will lose the custom normal maps that I have applied for face and body. The NPCs still look great. Don't worry.
I unfortunately need to scale back so that I can spend more time on making mods and less time managing and testing multiple versions of the mod. This is why I have removed the default body and RBT versions. The upside to this is that it will be less likely to encounter bugs and it will be easier to troubleshoot the ones that do arise.
If there are any issues/bugs, please use the "Bugs" tab to report it.
I struggle to keep up when they are reported in the comments.

Requirements:
If you want it to function and look as intended, please additionally install:
- If taking female NPCs, either a UNP or CBBE body base - not both.
I recommend getting this strongly, without it the mouths can clip with the faces in an ugly way. It's just better to get it.
- BnP Female Skin and BnP Male Skin, or another skin texture mod of your choosing.
INSTALL:
1) Download/install the requirements and then the FOMOD installer.
If you are updating, uninstall the old version before installing the new version. Running a new game with no mods on the Whiterun NPCs is recommended to "reset" the NPCs to vanilla default.
2) Choose your install type and patches.
3) Check the plugins is loading late. You may have to do this manually with vortex.
4) If you want the 2K tints, get them now from Optional Files and install them over the main mod.
5) Play!
