Some NPCs are floating! You can fix it by installing Actor Limit Fix. However, it may not totally fix it if there's too many NPCs even for that mod. Use the performance version if you can't tolerate the amount of NPCs.
Will it cause lag? There's 4 versions of this mod: Standard (2000 NPCs), Performance (1000 NPCs), Lite (400 NPCs) and Very Lite (200 NPCs). Use one of those according to what your computer can handle. You could also try using eFPS.
Do I need a new save? Some features will not work correctly if you install it for the first time mid-playthrough, like some garrisons from Forts, naked NPCs or getting the Letter of Promotion. Switching versions (ex. Standard to Performance) mid-playthrough will cause problems as well. Since that's basic knowledge for modding, I will not held accountable for issues you may encounter for installing/uninstalling the mod on an existing save.
Is this compatible with...? Most of the mods that add or modify armor for Stormcloaks or Imperials will not work without a patch. Also, some mods that add objects on roads like Expanded Towns and Cities may cause issues with patrol paths. You'll have to test it by yourself.
Can you make a patch for...? No, but you're free to do it yourself. Check permissions. However, I made 2 patches, one forNew Legion and another one for Sons of Skyrim.

everywhere I go I always find a big group of stormcloaks, then I start running across all Tamriel just to find 5 imperials that got demolished in seconds, What's with the Imperial spawns? I'm using the 400 npc version
Hello! First of all, thank you for your amazing work on this mod — it's one of the most immersive and exciting civil war overhauls I've experienced. I carefully read the section about patrol sizes and soldier types, including the part that explains scout, squad, and army units (with armies having up to 28 soldiers).
I just had a quick question: Do all versions of the mod (Lite, Performance, and Full) include armies of 28 soldiers? Or are large armies only available in the Full version?
Specifically, I'm curious about the major quest battles, like Battle for Whiterun, Battle for Windhelm, and Battle for Solitude — Even when using the Lite or Performance versions, can we still expect to see full-sized armies (28 soldiers per group) during those key moments? If not, would it be possible to include those 28-soldier armies near the city gates or fort entrances for those specific battles, even in lighter versions?
That would preserve performance while still delivering a more epic and cinematic experience in the most important missions. Thanks again for all your hard work. This mod really brings the civil war to life. Cheer's
there is a weird issue that the "disguise" is not working, I use stormcloak armor but anyway they start attacking me on sight, it works on city guards tho like rift guards, but the world troops seems to aggro, I'm kinda confused how this mechanic works yet
I have been playtesting this mod for the last week or so, and its is awesome, fantastic. Lite version, with Dead NPC Cleaner installed, it works like a charm. Yes yes, sure, its a total chaos and bloodbath when both armies meet in lets say Riverwood or Rorikstead... for these situations a compromise is needed: install SPID-protected citizens and all is well. its Skyrim after all, built on engine from 1998 !

Cheers.
EDIT: I was able to fix the bug by using "Disable" on the Jarl and then using "Enable" 🤣
Bro, how do I make the "Distorted laughing emoji" image smaller? It's too big here in the comments!😂🫠
