Thanks to GroundAura for speeding up the process for me to create this patch. It deletes the scripts from the tokens that you gift to your children, and rather than equipping the toys as armor, the AO will still be swapped for the animation.

A couple of variations of the doll-playing idle made in hkxPoser, mostly as a test. One where boys will appear less like they're cuddling their toy but rather hovering it, and a version of the idle where kids are kneeling on the floor while playing.

A text file to be placed in your Skyrim SE folder and used ingame. If you want to add more spots for your kids to play with their toys, open up the console and enter "bat playhere" without the quotes.
