This mod adds the weapon Kingsmourne, a Mourneblade from the video game World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The weapon is a two-handed sword & uses 4k or 2k texture files and a poly-efficient model made from using Blender and Quixel Mixer. The ESP is also flagged as an ESL so it should be considered light for most mod managers.
The latest screenshots (not the old ones) were taken using ENHANCER ENB and a ReShade that improves contrast, tone, and vibrance. The weapon's appearance may vary with each person's graphical setup.
Lore -
The Kingsmourne was once the blade known as Shalamayne the Shadow Reaver, however, it has been reforged to serve the will of
Weapon Stats -
With the attributes of both the legendary Shalamayne and a Mourneblade, Shalamayne is a well balanced cleaver of death. This coupled with its unique enchantment makes it a weapon without equal.
- 60 Attack Damage
- 0.8 Attack Speed
- 1.5 Weapon Reach
- Unique Enchantment
- Cannot be Disenchanted
Enchantment: Kingsmourne Hungers -
Kingsmourne boasts a powerful enchantment with several characteristics that make it one of the most powerful Mourneblades to exist
- Shadowfrost - Inflicts shadowfrost damage that drains 50 points of the enemy's health and stamina
- King's Rend - Rends 100 Points of Armor against foes for a duration of 30 seconds. (Stackable)
- Eternal Chill - Slows enemies by 80% of their movement for 30 seconds.
Perk: Jailor's Domination -
- Along with its enchantment, Kingsmourne still delivers some of its former attributes as Shalamayne. Wielders of the sword are capable of exerting 20% more attack power against enemies.
- As a Mourneblade, it can cut through any enemy defenses if present, meaning that if the target's armor rating is greater than 0, it will ignore it.
- Do note that using the blade exposes its wielder to Domination magic, reducing the user's health and stamina by 50 points. This effect is negated through frost resistance or by achieving level 20.
Way to Obtain & Recipe -
Kingsmourne can be forged using the Skyforge with material pertaining to undeath and souls. Specifically, it requires a certain material that cannot be found in the plane of the living. The blade requires knowledge of Daedric Smithing to create.
- 3 Filled Black Soul Gems
- 10 Silver Ingots
- 5 Ebony Ingots
- 1 Leather
- 10 Soul Husks
An enchantable version without the perk can be created at the Skyforge using less meterials. Both versions can be tempered with a single ebony ingot at a sharpening wheel.
One Handed Version -
A one handed version of Kingsmourne has been made by the wonderful SirRumple. If you tend to use one-handed weapons here is the link-

(I'm not sure if the updated version will work with this so if you want to use this file, download the old version in the old files section.)
Personal Notes -
- I learned a whole new program to make this weapon and so that was a fun adventure
- I do not know if I'll model another two-handed sword, but I want to try a different weapon type perhaps
- Thank you everyone who has downloaded and used my mods! So far, I think I've been finally getting the hang of porting the meshes into nifs and the whole mod creation thing.
- UPDATE (4/2/2023) - Decided to update the textures of the mod and its powers since I felt I learned a lot in the past months and wanted to better interpret this weapon in Skyrim.
