    Hello Everyone,

    It's been a long time since I've been able to offer any support on this opus of mine.  After seeking advice, I realize that the mod will forever be buggy in SE unless I completely rebuild it in the SE Creation Kit, and I'm not in a position time-wise to do that.  I regret the frustration the misfires have caused for some Players who writen to me on Youtube.  Still, I see by your very kind comments in the posts, that some of you are able to make it work well enough.  Thank you for your perseverance; the mod was made with a lot of love.

    Let me state right off the bat that if I could do what I'm about to suggest/wish for, I would. I just don't have the requisite skill set. I am a huge fan of the Thieves' Guild quest line and am always looking for mods that expand it even further. Two mods that stand out are this one and now "Thieves Guild Alternate Endings". I think it would be pretty freaking amazing to mash these two mods together via a patch if possible providing the mod authors gave permission. Based on the descriptions the hiccup is when you must complete "Darkness Returns" - specifically completing it based on this mod's ending. Thieves Guild Alternate Endings appears to pick up just before Darkness Returns concludes and provides 4 alternate endings, each with their own follow throughs. Insert this mod after said endings (that are viable logically) to continue the Rune and Brynjolf stories as this mod was intended to do. This is just a sudden vision that popped into my head while trying to decide which mod I should go with, both have great things to offer in different ways. Love the story telling but hate the idea we have to sell our souls to Nocturnal forever, screw her! LOL  Just food for thought. May you walk on warm sands.

    Hey does anyone know how to fix the npcs stuck in the nightingale hall after the wedding? They just seem to go back even if i teleport them. Also brynjolf is stuck wherever i tp him to after going back home to honeyside after the wedding lmao

    For anyone having trouble getting Strongbox to start - I had 'accidently' killed Lisbet earlier in my playthrough to charge up my Ebony Blade. Whoops. Turns out she's needed for the quest to trigger starting after Delvin looks at the necklace. I went back to my save right before I spoke to Delvin, resurrected Lisbet and then voila when I spoke to Delvin the next quest triggered. So if you also have a dead Lisbet, type

    Her body will then disappear from your feet, you can ask Delvin about the necklace and quest starts

    Just an FYI, there is now a patch here by Czasior for GG's Thieves Guild Headquarters  - I was waiting for it to be patched before starting so diving in now.

      I've been dying for this! Thank you @petemcpete for the notice and thank you @czasior for making this patch. @thadeuscalvin - this is among my favorite mods, thank you for extending the adventures in my favorite guild. :) Much appreciated guys.

    This mod, while a bit buggy, is absolutely amazing.  I have waited years for a mod like this and don’t mind at all working past the buggy parts.  What you have created is truly enjoyable and now a must have in my play list.   Thankyou for sharing this and taking the time to create something so engaging and fun to play.

    First and foremost, this is best mod I've ever stumbled across. Let that sink in for a moment before I say anything else. Seriously, the plot would be excellent in book form.

    I feel like some corporate exec somewhere missed out on an opportunity by not developing a stand alone Thieves Guild game as a follow-up to Skyrim. This mod helps ease that pain. Another big plus for me was the strength of the bond between the Guild Master and Brynjolf (trying to avoid spoilers). Also, I cannot say enough nice things about the visuals. The usual look of the tombs and caves got a massive upgrade. I've read some complaints of there being too many tasks but if you're into immersion and storytelling, it's not a problem.

    All of that being said, my fav moment was a quiet one. You find yourself leaning on a dock railing have a convo with Vipir that feels so real in its casualness.

    As for bugs, yeaaah. It's a fairly buggy mod and that is my only complaint. I found with persistence and patience you can work your way through most of the issues. The setstage command was my best friend. And a few times I resorted to walking around opening hidden doors so Brynjolf could find his way back to the cistern. Most importantly, as others have mentioned, don't let Brynjolf accompany you anywhere. Also, waiting really seemed to mess up the dialogue options and his location.

    Looking back on my play through, if the mod hadn't been buggy, I would have finished and thought "Why the hell isn't the original game this good?!!". Keep in mind you CAN get through the bugs. It just takes time and some loss of realism,

    Finally, I absolutely LOVED Fingers!! Funny characters are so gosh darn refreshing!!

      Hello jlhager10,
      After receiving the lamentations of frustration in a Youtube post, I figured that perhaps it would be better if I took this mod down and perhaps wiped my entire mod library off the face of the internet, but your kind words gave me pause.  This mod will never be bug-free in it's present form: four years of building and a year of successful Beta testing was undone by the Anniversary Edition. I never even got to play my own mod in SE.  But you seemed to have made it work, as least well enough to appreciate some of the love that went into it. I'm so glad you liked Fingers! I originally saw him as a sweet old man, but when I tried to role-play the dialogue with my partner(who voices him), I was taken aback, when his reply to my introduction of "I'm from the Guild" was "Where's my money?!" Irascible  bastard!

    Hey there! This is going to sound really odd but..

    Is this purely a Brynjolf romance mod so that Brynjolf's questline only works if you want to romance him?

    Or is there a way to do both his and Rune's questlines and not do romance?

    I love the idea of continuing the Thieves Guild post MQ, Skyrim has always sorely lacked 'continuation' questlines like Oblivion did, but I'm not interested in romancing Brynjolf.

    If it is then that's fine, I get it. This is probably an obvious question, but I figured I'd ask anyways. Also gonna take a look at the desc once more incase I missed something drastic. Thank you for your time.


    EDIT: I did infact miss something drastic. Somehow my brain didn't realize that "talk to Bryn to start his quests" is separate from putting on an amulet of mara. That's what happens when you have a little oopsie I guess. Stuff slips past you even with rigorous attention. I am a little sad to miss out on what sounds like a really interesting quest to go alongside the actual romance path, but oh well.
