Change "IsEquippedRightType(5)" to "IsEquippedRight("Name of Plugin.esp" | 0xweapon id). So for the two handed Soul Reaver WK27, it would be "IsEquippedRight("The Soul Reaver.esl" | 0x000D62)".

Hello! Just want to say this modlist is awesome and you did a great job recreating Kain. Just curious, is there something making the feet really big in the Imperial preset? I can't seem to get them back to normal size, and it's bothering me because they're clipping through the floor lol. Thank you
Hey there, glad you like the build. For the feet I had increased the size in the racemenu (under body, there is a feet option) I had made them bigger back in the day, that imperial preset is a few years old already so I had not fixed those issues. Let me know if you can change it in your racemenu, if not then I should try to reupload them with the correct body proportions like in the elder kain version.
That was an easy fix, thank you for replying! I also have a question about the head sculpt and getting him to look like your screenshots. I don't see the option to import the head in the presets and he looks more like the default Dunmer with a really pointy chin. I did a little Google researching and it looks like it should be in the files as a ".nif" file but I don't see that in the files for either the Dark Elf or Imperial presets. The body presets are there (".jslot") and I am making sure to switch to the High Poly Head in the face part tab. I tried downloading both from Nexus and manually and I can't find the .nif head sculpt presets in either. Can you help me figure out if I'm a dummy and doing something wrong? I just want to get the head and face to look like your photos. Thank you again!
Racemenu can sometimes be weird. Sometimes it lags, or just doesn't register. Exporting the head is usually a last case scenario, but I could do that and upload it so then you can plop it onto your character. I would recommend you first create a character using the preset, then plop that head nif on top so you have the face and the body proportions. Then save that preset :) (the issue with importing head nifs is the makeup, you will lose that when importing, but those are minor things :) )

Thank you for this I am a huge Legacy of Kain fan. My favorite game in the series is the original Blood omen the game that started my love affair with it. In my opinion the Legacy of Kain series is the most underrated series in gaming. I am a retired modder but if you want I am willing to create a mod recreating some of Kain's adventures. I made a personal mod putting Alucardwk's Soul Reaver in the toughest barrow in the game. I have every LOK related mod ever created by Alucardwk. I will ask them for permission.

I always wanted to recreate Blood Omen 1 in 3D. A lot of LOK fans missed out on that game and started with the first Soul Reaver. The thing is I can do the quests and scenes I'll just need some help models mainly the Pillars. I haven't contacted Alucardwk yet so I can use his Soul Reaver and LOK inspired armor he's released over the years. I will join your discord and start brainstorming ideas. Don't know if I want to make it encompass all of Skyrim or a self contained storyline or even replace the main quest.

And ty for the mod link. I did consider using the armor, but my preset's head size was a bit large because it is fine tuned to AlucardWK's armor. So I thought if anyone wants to use that armor they can always thin the head to fit the armor.
I would ask G8Raziel on the discord, he is the one who is creating the Chronicles of Nosgoth mod, so he might be able to help you with that. Dracir is also working on a LOK project, he only invites the worthy he says, I have seen his work and it is pretty damn amazing.

I've been brainstorming some ideas and been thinking should I create a brand new storyline or recreate Blood Omen 1? Anyway since you release the mod I've been working on a Kain voice pack for the player character. I will contact you via private message when I have chosen what to story to create. If you have any ideas you can let me know either here or via private message. The discord link worked!
Creating a whole new story would be complex, since they intertwine the timelines and all that jaz. I would say recreate BO1, then you could make the individual cells that Kain goes through. It would be a more realistic goal, and since you love BO1, that passion would drive you.
A Kain voice pack would be really epic actually :D Dracir showed me a few things where you can extract the voice files directly from the game, so you have clean voice lines. It might be useful for your projects and voice pack.
Blood Omen 1 storyline it is. I enjoyed all the games in the series even Blood Omen 2 which I've seen you based your Kain preset on. But Blood Omen 1 was my first introduction into the world of Nosgoth. Also recreating the dialogue of Blood Omen 1 is easy since the game script is posted on Nosgoth.net. Yeah, the voice pack will be sweet and should add to the atmosphere. Also this mod is pretty cool https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40413 it adds the spell Festus talks about in the Dark Brotherhood. I can make a patch where Kain acquires the spell from a dungeon like in the original game. Also good choice on making your Kain preset an Imperial, since Kain was nobility in life. Also I'll be making a patch for the Bat Travel Power mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20730. Since Kain can turn into a swarm of bats. Lastly if there's anything story wise you want let me know. Oh! I found the BO1 soundtrack on Nosgoth.net. Is Dracir a member here or on Discord?

If you ask him and say that I recommended you then he might allow you in his discord, he is kinda picky on who he let's in since he takes his work pretty seriously. I thought of making him a snow elf so I can get his skin corpse pale, but there were some limitations such as skysight skin only using the hairy body version. So I settled for this version since I tried to stay true to the source.
A patch for Vampire bat travel? Not sure what that entails, but I am curious to find out. Dark Envoy has an alternative bat travel as well, it is more controller friendly, but improved invisibility is needed or else you see him running, I also read that you can still hear his footsteps so I thought the regular bat travel will do.

You never played Blood Omen 1? It's a very Shakespearean game. What with Kain's inner monologue. You can buy the game for cheap at GOG.com. It is the only site where you could legally purchase the game. But yeah in Defiance Kain and Raziel travel back to the BO1 era, and made many references to that game. I'm surprised you weren't confused when Raziel spoke to Mortanius and his brother Turel who the people worshiped as the Hasha'gik. So while elder Kain is trying to find Raziel. Fledging Kain is hunting the Circle of Nine. Also the game is in 2d and it's a isometric action rpg. A lot of the voice actors who did the later games like Simon Templeman (Kain) and Tony Jay (the Elder God), voiced many characters in the original Blood Omen. The game was developed by Silicon Knights with help from Crystal Dynamics and published by Activision. I mention this because they all got into a huge legal battle and only last year since 1995 was the game allowed to be re-released on PC.

Yep! It's the only chapter of LOK that I have not played through. I did watch some gameplay and cinematics online just to see his original but saved it so I can try it out one day. As a young teen I was certainly confused at times, but I must have played the other games over 20x until I learned the lines and scenes from heart. Thanks for the links, I have the other games on steam but not BO1 and 2 so I will def add them to the collection.

It's okay if you haven't played it. But if you want to see how Kain came to be and why he made the decision to damn the world then I recommend it. There are four things that still standout to this day. The excellent writing, the excellent voice acting, the excellent soundtrack, and dark gothic atmosphere. Be warned though there are difficulty spikes and no autosave. You can't save anywhere either, you have to find save altars the first one is in Kain's mausoleum. As for being confused I played each game when they were released and it took me awhile to put everything together. If you replay the series here's the order I recommend: Blood Omen 1, Soul Reaver 1, Soul Reaver 2, Defiance, and Blood Omen 2. The reason why I put BO2 last is because even though the game takes place 400 years after the first one, the events of that game were not apart of the original timeline. The events of Defiance mainly Raziel's portion with the Hylden make BO2 possible. I am still brainstorming ideas for the mod I will update you when I have begun work on it.

Sadly I do not know how to create a follower, but I think there are a few mods out there where you can create one and then use this preset. Or edit your follower in racemenu.
ah very good suggestion - which race should i use for replacer ? i made some follower and replacer on my own - but would help when you can tell me a race which would be perfect for him ^^ or isnt that important ? take a nord - with white skin ?
