I mean, it is an Elf race right? Mer = Elf in case you weren't aware. But I can't tell if your comment is sarcastic or not lol. I'm a big fan of Space Funeral so this mod is right up my ally.
In any case I added pointy ears and a more Dark Elf appearance with racemenu (I'll upload a picture if ya'd like!) and some tweaks through SSEEdit with a better racial description to fit my Skyrim's growing modded canon lmao.
"Once Dunmer changed by experiments involving the Heart of Lorkhan, they now reside in their own province of the Meatlands below Lobo and above Black Marsh. The Meatlands alongside Lobo and Morrowind were absorbed in entirety by the Argonian State."
I picture the Meatlands as this hilariously absurd place (horrific if it was real lol) where everything within is literally made out of meat. Meat trees, meat houses, meat ground, steak clouds XD. Kinda Adventure Time-esque. The backstory is that the first Meatmer were Dunmer in the early days of the Tribunal since they had the Heart of Lorkhan. One of the Tribunal's early experiments lead to their creation and yada yada.
I Spent a little time in CK too, to change the race's powers so it has berserker rage and Dunmer racial abilities like starting with sparks. Just fits a lot better to me than a random Breton power that didn't make sense for them to have. Berserker rage seemed to fit as I had the Marked Men from New Vegas in my head when editing this. Fixed a couple bugs too while I was in there. Once I feel like spending the half hour I'll change the base race and character creation data so it isn't using assets from Human races and doesn't need to rely on racemenu to make them look like an elf. At that point I'm just using the texture lol. Might pop into Blender to create some 4k texures for this at some point too.
Been playing with this for a good twenty hours now and just got to Riften. Liking it so far. I'm a sucker for a joke or horror mod and given my wife's reaction to this, I'd say it fits both criteria. Thanks for the concept, and for the memes, I would never have thought of this myself. Keep on rocking.
haha thanks a lot for enjoying my meat mod! I'm not the greatest modder so this was the best I could do really and I had problems when trying to give him elf ears so I stuck with a nord base (armors wouldn't work for some reason). I honestly would love to see the stuff you made because it all sounds really cool! Thanks for using Meatmer lol
