i do not udnerstand why the dependency on the unofficial patch and why theres no alternative optional without the patch. last time i checked the unofficial patch was not part of the game. its not a requirement in order to play the game. its an alteration of the game. stop using as forced dependency.
As much as I would love to enjoy this mod it simply does not work because it causes black face issue on certain npc's. No other npc replacer mod causes this. I even turned off all other npc replacer mods and tested this one by itself and it still doesn't work.
Black faces are usually caused by a mismatch between the records in an NPC's facegeom .nif and the entries in their NPC record as defined by the last plugin that touched them.
What this means is that those "certain npc's" that get black faces are probably having another mod's plugin affecting them -- likely something other than their appearance -- that is lower in the load order, and that is overwriting their NPC record. Because that mod obviously doesn't make the same visual changes to the NPC, but this mod is still providing the facegeom mesh, it causes blackface. The reason those other appearance mods are working is because they either use vanilla face parts and just changed the geometry, or because you're loading them later and they aren't being overwritten.
Basically, this mod works 100% but you're breaking it by accident. Try loading this mod's files and plugin absolutely last. If any other mods break, those are the ones interfering with it. Or learn how to use xEdit -- that will make things simple.
I have the same problem, I made it so the plugin load last and don't have any other mods and still have blackface.
Edit : I found a solution and I share it here if it can help someone. I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod and chose "I don't have USSEP or Overhaul AI" and I chose CBBE.
Still getting invisible werewolf Aela with diverse werewolf collection and moonlight tales installed. Trying to resolve it in xedit but I can't add any masters to this for some reason.
hi just found your mod and i have to say, they are reeeeealy good, i use another mod that changes npcs appearances, and i would like to use yours but keep some of the appearances from that other mod, since it also changes some male npcs, would you know if i can use both mod, but put yours below on the load order ? if that would work
hello there, i much love your mod, i am installing this mod again on a new skyrim install, i noticed that you missed this lady ( https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Leonara_Arius ), can you please make a small separate patch for her if you can, thankyou otherwise i will have to install another complete npc overhaul and then over write that with this mod just to get one face, thanks
I uninstalled this mod by mistake, I tried to reinstall it but now none of my female NPCs are changed, they're all vanilla. I've tried to fix this multiple times by reinstalling it but to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this?
For Anyone Having Armour or Clothing (Naked Bare Feet) NPC's Start New Game Or Open Console Select NPC And Type Resurrect It Should Reset Their Inventory And Equipment's Now Your NPCs Are Fixed :)
