It turns out I'm also dumb and missed that we actually need to CLICK on a Lantern Fuel (while having both a Lantern and a Lantern Fuel in the inventory) in order to craft a Lantern with Fuel. It's not cratable at the Forge. Ah, silly me!
Requires compacting formIDs. I personally don't do it in my game. Theoretically, you should be fine if this and the original QuickLight mod are not installed in your save game or you uninstall according to the instructions in the description of this mod and reinstall. There is a small discussion on this topic if you go back in the comments.
Hello! I really like the implementation of fuel to lanterns, and i use Usable Lantern SE (29897), but the lanterns just burn for ever. Do you know how i could, at least, make them burn out with time or, if it is feasible, to tell me how difficult it would be to make a patch and add fuel to that one too?
I like that you can just pick any lantern around and use them, but it would be best if i could manage fuel or if they burnt out like torches. Or maybe just add a way to insert a new candle, dunno haha
Hey, make sure that you have installed all the requirements of all mods. Check IMAGES for correct load orders. For me, it is working (see VIDEOS). If it still does not work for you, then you might have a mod conflict.
I'm sorry if this should be in bugs section but I can't seem to be able turn my light off once it's on. Even toggling the mod on and off does nothing. I don't wish to take up anyone's time but I'm quite confused as what to do.
Edit: I believe i found the problem, "Quick Light for Followers" seems to conflict with the mod. Not 100% sure but uninstalling it allowed me to control my light again. It's also possible that QLFF needed to load before this mod but I'm just gonna leave QLFF uninstalled. Sorry for the wasted time. Great mod by the way.
Hey, thanks for reporting it. I d still need to reproduce it on my end. Then, I could add "Quick Light for Followers" as incompatible or make a patch for it. Unfortunately, I cannot look into it anytime soon.
The mod needs a patch for "Quick Light for Followers" because disabling this mod allows "Fuelable Lanterns for Quick Light SE" to turn the lamp off and on.
But there is another problem, FLQL disables me some of the options in the MCM menu of Quick Light (Light intensity and ....🤦♂️ I forgot the other option )

I have a lantern, I have fuel, but the game still prompts me to have a lantern with fuel if I press the Quick Light hotkey.
I have those items already, thus... doesn't work.
