Hey everyone! So I had a big update planned for this mod, actually all my mods, including bug fixes. However, my pc literally caught fire and I lost everything I was working on. It's going to be awhile before I can get a new pc and make everything again.
Amazing work, although as a detail freak I have a minor nitpick: I believe your normals are in OpenGL format when they should be in DirectX. It results in some odd lighting IMO.
Yeah, it will look wrong in game. Shame cause it's really good texture pack.
If you want to fix this yourself, you need to invert green channel of normal map texture (_n) using image editor (eg. photoshop) and resave as dds with Intel or Nvidia plugin. Repeat for every single _n texture...
The Omnibus, like other texturepacks, are made with complex parallax in mind (a feature offered by both ENB and CS). If you use these textures it's recommended you activate the complex parallax feature in your ENB config files (.ini files). If you don't do so, you just won't profit from this feature but the textures work. If you use the feature, then you need to use Terrain Blending Fix cause the transitioning with other texture sets will cause hard seams. You don't need Terrain Parallax Blending Fix if you don't use these textures with complex parallax set to true.
Me it's the inverse, I'm glad it doesn't need Terrain Parallax Blending Fix to work, as TPBF seems to do a lot of meshes editings that can break lot of things. In addition, The Omnibus is very simple to use, just enable Terrain Parallax and you're good to go, no need of parallax meshes or parallax (_p) textures or complex material envmasks (_m). Simple and efficient :)
Hello, does this mod replace rocks? rocks are still vanilla for me, i would like to know, if not what can i use for rocks with this mod, thank you. oh and maybe this isn't the right place to ask this but, do i need elvas underside if im using dyndolod?
This is the only landscape textures that work for me and parallax setup (even when i mod enderal). Thank you for making this amazing mod and the great work. <3
You can use this with Community Shaders actually! I do, and it looks amazing
Not all texture/terrain mods that have parallax state in their descriptions that Community Shaders can be used instead of ENBο»Ώ; some do, not all though. Pretty much any texture mod that features Parallax, you can use Community Shaders, granted so long as you grab the Complex Parallax Materials listed under the "Features" section on the Community Shaders page.
