Love the idea of this but got one quick question, do these drinks work with CC survival mode? Been looking for something that adds option to dealing with exhaustion.
I think it would need a patch for any extra effects. I'm not actively modding rn, but I did have a CC patch for my older tea mod. So if you need CC compatibility, you could use that one instead (or make a patch, idk).
any chance this mod will ever get a eating animations and sounds patch? ive been using the other coffee mod but it also doesnt have a patch for that but would love to switch to this one.
Once upon a time Mefariah was accepting requests for EAS patches here, and I have left a request for it. They have replied and added it to the ever growing list of requested patches. It has been quite a while now, so they must be taking a break or moved on, idk. They have previously patched my old tea mod btw.
I would love to see such a patch too, but it is what it for now, thank you for your interest :)
I love the Idea of this, But I don't use CACO. So the dependence on that is a Shame. But I will track, So that in another LO build, I might use CACO, So I can use this! haha
I don't know if I'm completely blind or dumb or what, but I can't find where to get the teapots? I have Campfire and I've downloaded the file for kettles, but I cannot seem to find any to buy anywhere.
For testing try moving Seasonal Drinks - Campfire addon.esp to the bottom of your load order: if the misc traders (like Belethor) suddenly have teapots, then it's a leveled lists/container conflict. Check your l.o. in xEdit, see who overwrites it, either make a patch or just place my mod after the other mod. Also, you can install Base Object Swapper, and then the teapots will show up in clutter placements in the world sometimes, rarely. FYI, all of the spawning/purchasable teapots are just misc items, you need to craft placeables through the Campfire menu.
Eh, Sunhelm - a patch is basically unnecessary, 'cause you can just add any drinks through the in-game menu. Sure, I can assign keywords so the drinks are recognised from the get-go, that seems to work. Or add them to FLST or something. Additional changes proven to do more harm than good in testing. But as far as my brief testing shows, you can not successfully assign fatigue removal effects (for coffee and green tea-ish elven brew). So your best bet is simply adding them through the in-game menu.
As for Apothecary, I don't think it would work with CACO, and this mod is CACO dependent, mostly because Seasonal Foods is CACO dependent.
Love the looks in picture, but I have to ask. Does this one also include a pot? Because that pot is what made the mood, while sitting on campfire at evening.
I actually came to hate that teapot, because it is quite glitchy to place down anywhere. So this one does not have a Campfire dependency, and therefore no pot. I can look into making an independent addon with a pot though. Haven't considered that until now
Been really enjoying this mod so far (and surprising lore friendly as well, if we are basing this around a time period from our time, coffee beans would have existed, but not sure if anyone knew about making coffee back then).
Glad to hear it! To me, the only issue is import availability, but in my mind trade flows well within the Empire (CACO adds plenty of import only items). Also, there is a potential issue with nords' general hostility towards unknown foreign drinks, I suppose, so that's another reason why coffee based drinks are less common than local herbal and milk based drinks (the latter are mainly for kids). However, the other races are plenty represented (I personally have a preference for Diverse Skyrim), so they might be more familiar with it or open to it. Speaking on average, of course.
