If you added a version where it's half as strong as this, that would probably be "perfect" as far as balancing goes for me. But have the 'Summon Karstag' have the default game stats. My reason for that would simply be because he's not in an ideal & true state. Sort of like, you kill Karstag in his full glory, and when you kill him you summon Karstag in a weaker state (since you defeated him). This way he won't be so boring to use in actual use due to how overpowered you made him as a summon.
Even at current strength, I could never beat Kaarstag without resorting to a bit of cheating. ((I climbed the cliff next the the exit and pelted him with arrows until he is dead. The elevation prevented him from attacking me.)
Now you wanna make him stronger? Lol. Thanks but no thanks.
Thanks! I stopped doing these individual releases as I'm working on a large AIO mod that overhauls every unique boss fight in Skyrim, even the minor ones that most people don't know about. It will have a lot more features than the stuff I've released so far, instead of just buffs I'm really trying to make the minor bosses have more unique designs and more fun fights. Should be ready in 1 month or so
This is a really cool idea, think you could make the summon spell for him also have more than 3 uses? I figure if he's way stronger, the reward should be greater as well. Three times isn't very much for a long playthrough
That's a fun idea. The reward is already stronger though, as you get to summon a more powerful version of Karstaag (the buffs from this mod carry over to his summoned form). He is so strong that it might make the game boring in practice if you can summon him at will, since he will likely win any fight for you.
If you can find another mod that makes his summon spell have more uses, you can combine it with this one and they will work together. My mod doesn't edit the summon spell, so there's no compatibility issues.

I'm curious if your mod will make Karstag more challenging than Real Bosses mod.
Perhaps you'll consider making a stronger boss - Harkon? (no mod makes it strong enough).
