I'm still using machine translation. I now use DeepL instead of Google Translate, and I think it works better than before, but there are still times when communication is difficult, so please bear with me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.20b is now available. Thanks for your continued support.
I've updated the Articles with a simple guide to making custom tweaks with Nifskope, if you're interested, check it out. And if the FOMOD installation process goes wrong and you end up with a bunch of square textures, you'll have to do a manual installation, which is also covered in the article.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [TBD] I plan to upload a minimalist optional for post 1.0 work where the particle size is optimized for first person viewing. In the distant future, we will provide optimized scaling for first-person, which may take a long time to get to us because it will not just be a scale reduction, but also a detail modification.
I said I would support this separately, but it has changed to plan to gradually reduce the size of particles starting from version 1.1. I'm sorry to those who waited. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A mod has been released to make special effects only work on player attacks. Check it out at the following link. This is a new post as there are new requirements. DI Slash VFX PC Only - MIF
Answered my own question. It works, just have to select Vanilla sparks in the FOMOD. Highly recommend running Seriously Improved Sparks with Really Seriously Improved Sparks - Textures Update (Not the main file) for a complete spark overhaul.
i keep getting weird blue swirly effects around my character when the slashes hit and I don't know whats causing it? might be the visible critical hit mod I have that depends on this but I'm not sure.
The front page says that Immersive Sounds Compendium has a compatibility patch "in the FOMOD", but neither mod appears to have that.
EDIT: Nevermind. I'm a dyslexic idiot. I saw the ISC patch and went "Skyrim Immersive Creatures!? I stopped using that years ago") For some reason my brain always flips the words in that acronym around. Ugh.
So, nice visual effect to make combat more impactfull. But aren't werewolves and vampire lord supported? I see punches impacts when i strike with my claws... Someone has a fix for this pretty please?
