I made this work with OAR by making a folder structure in this mod's folder and place the animation files in it; like so: 1. Make the folder structure. It should look like this: \meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\9100000 The number can be anything you want, it's just a priority; the higher the number the more will overwrite lower priority animations you have installed. 2. Make a .txt file inside the last folder and name it _conditions Inside this text file type: IsActorBase("Skyrim.esm" | 0x000007) AND IsWeaponDrawn() AND IsEquippedRightType(5) Save the file and close it. 3. Copy all the animations inside the number folder. You should have in the "9100000" folder the _condition.txt and the animations from this mod. 4. Start the game, equip a 2 handed sword and draw it.
If anybody has different methods feel free to help, this is what made it work for me. Worth a try!
I assume this method also works for the rest of the leviathan 2 mods right ? And do you know if it makes it possible to have this moveset player exclusive ?
The first line in the _condition.txt is a condition for the player only. I'm not entirely sure if npc's can use it tho; i haven't noticed any npc hold a 2H sword like this so far with those settings. Try it and see in game how the npc's hold the weapon lol.
When I use this mod my character holds the greatsword held to the side, pointed down and back when moving around, not pointed forward. Did I install it incorrectly? I want it to work like in the preview video, sword pointed forward in front of the character
I got this mod to work by copying the files over to Elden Rim's greatsword folder, overwriting the one idle file. It now works for Greatswords, with that mod's attack animations. Good luck.
what confuses me is my character doesn't do this they;ll hold the greatsword in one hand and then raise the other hand up and the sword rests on the shoulder even in idle with non combat locomotion installed, i don't have high stance installed but when I did it was the same issue. Unsure what could be replacing that and oar doesn't say there's any conflicts.
The mod only works with a male player character on my install. OAR lists DefaultMale only for equip/unequip as replaced animations, while for everything else it is separate entries for male and female. Tried changing PC gender to male, and it works well as expected.
Leviathan 2H animations has no problem with either gender, for that matter.
EDIT: removed leftover contents in the MO2's overwrite folder and it's all groovy now :)
Got it working, the trick was to remove the relevant contents of the MO2's overwrite subfolder. There were some leftover files that were somehow causing conflict with equip/unequip motion only.
Here is a simple .json I've created (a modified version of other more recent verolevi animation sets) (path for subfolders for low stance/normal/power/sprint attacks: \ModOrganizer\SkyrimSE\mods\Leviathan Animations II - Greatsword Animations\meshes\actors\character\animations\OpenAnimationReplacer\Leviathan Animations II - Greatsword\LowStance (one subfolder each for NormalAttack, PowerAttack, SprintAttack)
Can you explain more about the solution you found? I use Vortex so I don't know about an overwrite folder but I don't know why it only applies to male characters
Maybe there's something replaceing the Greatsword animation, are you using both Stance and Low Stance animations because Stance replaces all two handed weapons
Hmmm.. I think I have a similar problem. Vanagarnd 2H animations work, but not any of the Leviathan II: The PC just stands there in "A pose". I fired up OAR config menu (shift+O) and had a warning about a bunch of mods sharing a same priority. Which one of the many legacy animations did you have to disable? Also, for some reason the OAR config menu was frantically shifting to the next selection when I had it open, as if I had a stuck down arrow key.
Other animation related mods I have: - CATA - OAR - Vanagarnd / Goetia replacers - Pandora - Animated armory - Pretty jumping animations
+1. I was having an issue where the low stance gets replaced with the vanilla idle stance for females only, and disabling Assorted Animation Fixes solved it immediately, if anyone else is having this issue.

So unfortunately the mod doesn't work for me so just the stance. Low and high.
The other “Stance” based on OAR works. ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/84201?tab=posts )
Is there already a solution to the problem?
PS: I suspect that the mods are not OAR based, right?
Best regards
no i had tried it with one stance (Low). It dont work. It seems that MCO is overright the stance but ervery loadorder i tried dont work.
i use this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/94715), and the sprint attack + one stance (i tried)
and another question:
- when i install MCO you can choose MCO and the DXP which on i must install. At the moment i Have the MCO.

it is related to the legacy animations in OAR. You have to deactivate this. Then the mod's animation will play.
