And it wasn't only about lod fading, MM performance, my textures or the snow brightness. It was about the people I love complaining about doing what I love. Modding is a kind of self expression to me. And it is about passion and dedication.
And bringing joy into this world.
I know that it is debatetable. But I see modding as art. And my heart truely bleeded when I saw discussions about replacing my textures. Barely two days after my release.
Couldn't the mod get any chance to be what it is? To be what it is supposed to? I see my work as a breathing, living beeing.
And I had to hide my work. I really had to think about my position.
I mean! I had to fight a huge battle that MM got accepted for what it is. But I don't want to fight anymore. I simply hope that my mods and the mods of others can be accepted for what they are. For what they are supposed to be.
And I hope that this kind of acceptance will find a way into the world again. No matter what race, color, gender, sexuality or political oppinion a person has. No matter if a person is an asshole or has oppinions you don't like. A person should always be accepted for what he/ she is.
We don't get happy by changing everything and everyone to our likings. Sometimes it is more wise to let the river of life simply flow.
It makes the road WAY LESS blended. Never understood why anyone would want this mod. Mob mentality maybe. Or maybe it goes good with big crazy texture packs...I dunno. I use vanilla upscaled or optimized types so maybe this isn't for that. I don't understand lol...
Starting to wish Nexus has a feature where people could vote if the mod was outdated and had issue or not so they would just not show up on seaches. Only way to reset the votes is to actually update the mod.
GREAT MOD. I spent 10+ hours trying to fix a road texture in Winter, changed load order 800 times, installed and uninstalled 3 different snow mods and their associated patches, nothing was working and I was at the point of considering learning synthesis to remove landscape color vertex. BUT. This solved all my problems. Clearly i have some other issue to work out with the shaders/snow texture though lol, but sparkly blue snow is not something i care about that much tbh.
Other (relevant) mods: Seasons of Skyrim & Seasonal Landscapes Majestic Mountains & Vanilla Landscape Corrections Vanilla Complex Parallax (this had the file conflicts, but i have other parallax mods that rely on it and removing it turns everything purple lol)
I've started noticing an odd rendering issue with this mod when looking over a ridge that leaves no ground between the road bumps and objects past it. Zooming in close with freecam, I got this, seemingly the lighting of everything past the rock showing through it. Anyone know what's going on and what I might be able to do about it?
do you see the weird line hovering above the road textures when your coming over a ridge on the road? i get that floating line. no idea what its all about.
Even whit the fixes, if I use the 3d blended version, near to Windhelm sems to be missing meshes. I don´t know if I am the only one or it happens to everybody.
This mod seems to not work properly for me. Complete Vanilla Skyrim, no mods just Blended Roads and ENB. Also tried with SMIM and the patch in the fomod and the 3D mesh option, but I always get this seams in areas like Dawnstar. Also tried Blended Road Fixes. Just looks like this:
