Update - 18/11/2024
- Updated the mod to version 2.5+ which I remade the mod from scratch, basically remade it twice after the first remake borked something and I had to start again, took a few full days to do. Sacrifices have been made with the clutter etc, however I think It's worth it for 1000 (one thousand yes) less records. Kept the design and layout pretty close to the original, but this way fixes many problems and messy construction. Narzulbur was my first location overhaul and second mod after making a little house mod, I didn't know anything about performance, drawcalls and ESL record limits etc and modding In general. Over a year later I've learned better ways to do things, and I think 2.5+ will be a better mod going forward. Cheers
All patches made by others will need to be remade for 2.5+
Because of the .esp name change from v2.3, this file is no longer compatible with the Northern Roads patch. Is it no longer needed because of the changes made or should I just stick with v2.3 so I can still use the patch?
I am here to remind to anyone who download this mod that
'Gloombound mine is now LOCKED with a master lock, no more access to ebony at level 1' - - - This information can found in 'Changelogs - Version 1.0' but not in the Description.
I have question about Locked mine; is there a Strongholds npc who can open the mine just like Riften Gate Guard ?
I want to thank you for your wonderful Stronghold series. Orcs are awesome! I am currently having so much fun with a traditional heavy armor / shield / axe build, supported by smithing (of course) and alchemy. I started in Dushnik Yal (thanks to "Live another life"), and it really feels like home.

Clean install If you want to update mid save, otherwise you'll have objects all over the location in weird positions and can corrupt the save.
go into an interior cell like an Inn.
1 Save and exit
2 Uninstall mod
3 Load game
4 Save and exit
5 Install new version of mod
6 load game save and play.
But good to know, thanks!
if you want to use the northern roads patch you'll have to use the old version. sry
thanks
I've also tried killing every NPC in Narzulbur listed in the UESP page and checking their inventories in case I read SSEdit wrong, but I found no key.
Is there a key or do I have to lockpick my way in??
guess you'll have to lockpick it...

Thank you for sharing the mod !
if not it will be in a updated version :)
Does a key exist in version 2.3?
If so, is it obtainable in a way that does not break the code of Malacath (meaning that I don't have to steal it)?
Just thought I'd ask before I turn the entire stronghold inside out. Any answer or hint will be greatly appreciated!
however, it's not breaking the code if someone else acquires/comits murder and they then gift it to you it.... if you catch my drift
