I have 1 question...... How do I make it mine instead of trespassing? I can find nothing in game or in your descriptions on this...... I LOVE the mod used to play the old version I really like this one better..... 1 other suggestion.... add the limitless bookcase back? Please?
So I'm working on updating this mod with some new features such as a key to the cellar and proper player ownership on everything (rather than no ownership since this seems to be causing problems for some people?) as well as some book storage. Tho it just might be a conflict that's causing the ownership issue, some one said that they moved it lower in their LO and that seemed to fix the problem, so maybe give that a try for the time being.
As of right now i can't put a time frame as when to expect the update since I'm working a lot lately, but know I am working on it :)
Another (trick) solution is via NFF (Nether's followers framework). Use its Home Base option to set this place as Home, and it will prompt you to Take Ownership. Once you own the place, you are no longer tresspassing, and all items there (including any bed, etc.) are yours.
@Fealinde: I suggest you rename your mod title to include "Anise's Cabin" (e.g., title could be "Fea's Riverwood Cabin - Anise's Cabin Replacement"). So that users who are searching for mods that upgrade Anise's Cabin, can find yours easily.
I love this mod so much! Unfortunately I do have to disable it because it's in the same spot as Astrum Chateau which I want more for my current game play. I REALLY appreciate this being flagged as ESL. I'll re enable it on my next play through! Amazing work!!
Love this mod. Not currently using it atm, but it's one of my favorite Riverwood-area house mods and I was frantic when I accidentally deleted the old one from my hard drive and couldn't find it on the Nexus anymore, lol.
This one's a lot better than the old one, though, in that it has a key (at least, I never could find a key in the old one if one did exist), and the basement is more of a complete living space where in the old one it was more or less just a bedroom.
One thing I would like to see, if possible, that was present in the original is versions that have different shrines. I don't remember how many the original had, but I do remember I used to have the Akatosh one. IIRC, there wasn't a way to change the shrines in the mod itself, you had to download a different version for whatever shrine you wanted.
Anyway, good to see this mod back up, and improved.
I have been a longtime fan of the original mod and was sorry to see that it had been removed from Nexus. Fortunately, I too had my old copy. I am glad that you are updating the mod and like what you have done. If you are taking requests, I always thought the garden plots should be changed to Hearthfire planter plots instead of leeks and potatoes. That way the player could choose what to plant there, for characters that like to dabble in alchemy.
I have installed the new update as well as the Anise patch. A couple of things/possible bug reports. I was thinking that putting Anise back in would include the evidence of her witch coven in the basement, and that upon returning from the basement, she would turn hostile as in the base game. The old note was not there and she did not turn hostile. I can understand that some may like it this way, but I was wondering if that was your intent.
Also, I could not find the key either on Anise (after killing her) nor in the urn.
Finally, the new fertile soils are bugged for me. They are there and the game displays "fertile soil" when I am looking at them, but I am unable to interact with them. They do not activate.
Thanks for your feedback! For the Anise re-enabled patch I did not re-enable anything but Anise, however I see where your coming from and I will fix her and the cabin up to make sure its all cohesive and I'll try to figure out why the key isn't showing up for you on Anise. I'll also fix the hearthfire planters, sorry about that, this mod has been a learning experience for me, and I've still not got a handle on everything.
I have occasionally dabbled in modding and understand some of the difficulties and intricacies. I did look at the mod with SSEEdit. I think your key reference in the Anise patch is wrong. I tried a few things to see if I could make her hostile on exiting the cellar but failed to figure it out. She is such a minor character that I can play without her. I did not try to fix the soils. When I previously dabbled with adding fertile soils to a different mod, I discovered they are more complicated than I cared to put the effort into figuring out. :) So, I am always grateful for any effort and work that modders put into the game for other people's enjoyment. Thank you!
Ok, so while I was poking around and fixing things I found, that for me at least, the replacer I started using interfered with Anise's key showing in her inventory. So I went in xEdit to see what was up and found the mod causing the issue and made a patch. If you don't want to do that or don't know how, you should be able to just move Anise's patch lower in your LO so that the key will show up. if that doesnt work let me know and maybe I can make a patch with SPID or something.
I'm still working on the soils, but I think I've got it mostly figured out, just gotta do some testing.
Still not sure about making her hostile after leaving the cellar... but I'll figure it out :3
Thank you for sharing, always loved this little hut and I'm glad I can use it now. It's really well done, tho the cellar is little too bright in my game. I guess its the ENB but I dont know how to adjust that. Anyway great job!
That's great to hear. I'll add a little note in the description that it need to be lower in the load order if ownership is an issue. Thanks for reporting back :)

That's actually a great idea, thank you. I will change the title in just a bit.

I'm actually finally getting back to updating this mod and I love the planter idea, so I'm going to add some on the property somewhere.
Thanks for the idea and nice comment!

I'm glad you like it :D
I'm actually working on the update and hopefully will have it out very soon.
Sorry for taking so long to reply btw.
