So, i just found a way to use it with controller, you just need to change the name of the file in the open animation replacer folder from mco_weaponart.hkx to mco_powerattack1.hkx and then copy the file to put it in the your main animation folder, just let it overwrite the powerattack1 in that folder
Not sure why I cant get this to work. I am using all the proper requirements. This is actually the first time I am running into an issue with one of these types of mods. I do have One Click Power Attack though. Perhaps that is causing issues? I cant quite understand why it doesn't work period. Pressing and holding A & D together does make my character go stationary but then when I press MB1 and MB2 together nothing happens. My character just goes to attack. Any thoughts? Or is it indeed One Click Power attack messing stuff up, and is there a fix/workaround I can do.
P.S. for what it is worth the Judgement Cut End: Remake (the requirement for this mod) which utilizes a power works just fine. So does Stylish Dodge which pointed me to this mod in the first place. Literally everything seems to be in order. So I am not quite sure what is going on. Also yes nothing is overwriting this mod. It is the highest priority currently. I think it is actually the last .esp loaded or in MO2 terms has the highest priority assigned to it in my load order.
Alright. I will give this a shot. I am still a bit confused though. I am running the following: One Click Power Attack NG - NV-v1.11 Attack MCO-DXP - v 1.6.0.6 Dodge MCO-DXP - v 2.1.19 All the other proper versions of this mods requirements and of course the pre-requisites to have a working Attack MCO-DXP and Dodge MCO-DXP setup.
But see nothing even in my One Click Power Attack NG MCM menu to set a Weapon Art key. Now I have all the requirements this mod lists but is there something else in my load order i am missing to allow Weapon Arts in general? Forgive my ignorance but this is literally the first time messing with these Weapon Arts let alone using this whole new Attack MCO-DXP system (and I am addicted to learning it). I am also using ADXP I MCO elden rim moveset collection (SCAR)
Of course I can change the .hkx file name that is not a problem. But if this is a problem with my actual setup relating to Weapon Arts in general I'd rather fix the root of the problem instead of just put a Band-Aid over it.
or attack dxp has innate weapon art animations. you can try activating that first. same button (Left and Right Attack Key only)/or set it in ocpa ng mcm
Maybe it's just me but I think we're not supposed to use this consecutively with judgement cut end. My game keeps crashing when I use them one after the other. But it doesn't crash when I space the 2 attacks apart.
This mod isn’t currently working for me. Would like some support, I’ve done the whole mco power attack and I am using Separate Power Attacks. Should I switch over?
Welp I tried everything but I just can't get this mod to work. I installed the latest version of ADXP because I was using an old version and I also renamed mco_weaponart.hkx to mco_powerattack1, but I still couldn't get it to work. I think it might be incompatible with something else I have installed.
Edit: I got it to work. Instead of having to hold the A key and D key, it activates when I hold W key and power attack key at the same time.
can you whip up a power version you physically can't hold both left and right on any controller who even uses keyboard I mean I'm on pc too but what is this 2006 ofc I'm gonna use my controller to have the privilege of actually leaning back in my chair while I play a game

AD + hold both NA and Right Button Key(sometimes OCPA users change their Right Button Key)
or just rename the mco_weaponart.hkx in this mod to mco_powerattack1.hkx so you can just use AD + Power attac
or assign Weapon Art key in OCPA NG MCM
