Heads up for anyone who is interested in avoiding the need for 2 mods plus a patch... I've now uploaded an All-In-One version, which incorporates Wet Matters and Snow Matters all into one plugin with no need for patching!
Wet Matters and Snow Matters AIO https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/90883
So, 1.1 (the NON Wet n Cold version) was not recognizing when you go indoors while it's raining. Version 1.2 has resolved this. (I believe 1.1 still good on the Wet n Cold version). No promises about standing under a overhead cover, for now. Please offer feedback to let me know if we are (or aren't) on the right track. (Thank you all for your patience, support, and feedback!) ~dan
Now added optional plugin... Snow Matters! Add 100 points of "cold" if you are in a snowstorm. Feel free to test, along with the appropriate patch to run both Wet Matters and Snow Matters at once. If testing goes well and I didn't screw anything up, maybe we'll combine it all into one mod (one plugin). Fingers crossed :-)
(EDIT - Replaced Snow Matters 1.0 with 1.1. I believe 1.0 was attached to a survival mode script that was causing the effect to time out. Not 100% sure but I removed that just in case.) Turns out that 1.0 was actually better. Reverted back to 1.0 !
PS - I ended up uploading Snow Matters as its own new mod, in case some people want one but not the other or whatever. But if you already have snow matters version 1.1 1.0. from the optional files here, FYI it's the exact same file so you don't need to download it again over there!
Okay, so, as I'm thinking this through, what my mod does is subtract 100 from your warmth rating in the rain... And what a cloak does is add XX warmth rating back on... So essentially a cloak already does (at least partially) nullify the punitive effect of Wet Matters... So, are you suggesting that a cloak should completely nullify the chance of any wet effects?
No problem! Your idea is probably still on to something, where a cloak wouldn't offer total protection, but yet would offer better protection than any other type of clothing, but I'm not sure I'm ready to make it all complex like that, lol, maybe one of these days when I have lots of time and energy :-)
Thank you! Im not familiar with Sunhelm, but if it utilizes the warmth rating from Survival Mode then it should be compatible, but if it has it's own warmth rating system, then it would not.

Use v1.1 of the Wet and Cold Version, or v1.2 of the regular version.~dan
