Majority of the textures have been created with assets provided by ambientCG.com (CC0). I'm really glad that a site like this exists to provide some textures for free to use and share. :)

- Optimized 5 meshes that have a high usage in caves. This should help reduce vertices and triangles to render. Maybe not an extreme amount. But better than nothing.
- Added a new plugin that adds new meshes to use to the caves to fix some of the inconsistencies. Currently affects Hobs cave only. I'll take a look into others down the road.
- Removed some unseen meshes in hobs cave.
Version 2.1.0
Changelog:
- Remodeled 24 meshes. You may have seen a few pics in the posts (ill add some to the images as well) of how the new meshes look after me fixing them and their broken UV seams.
- Improved CPU side of the meshes: Thanks to remodeling of meshes there's quite a bit of reduction in vertices. In some objects, up to 400 vertices less. So it should slightly help with improving CPU side of performance.
- Reworked the cubemap to make it much more complex: Now the reflective basis is more advanced in the way that it can superficially reflect ice to a better scale. Naturally there's some angles that do not allow for reflection but now it's possible. The color accuracy has also been improved. So if a mesh is backlit, it will take over a blue accent due to a blue sub surface scattering texture.
Version 2.0.0
Changelog:
- Revamped the meshes a lot.
- Fixed a lot of missing textures on various meshes
- Added seam mesh parts to all meshes
- Added custom seam textures
- Improved parallax for the type 1 Ice textures
- Added a few missing meshes for Signus location
- Remade various textures and especially the normals
- Fixed a lot of UV inconsistencies. They are now properly adjusted for hopefully all meshes
This is a mod that remasters how the ice caves look in the game. I've created the textures that I felt fit the game best and along side heavily modified the meshes to work with these textures.
Additionally
This mod improves and optimizes a lot of vanilla meshes. Here is a preview of what I mean by optimizing them
As I'm working on meshes, the performance might increase quite a bit more. This photo was made as of Update 2.1.6.
Some things I want to say I wasn't focusing on creating structurally realistic ice caves. But instead something like fantasy realism.
The overdrive (quality) version of this mod is still in progress. But a fully working performance version is available to use.
Because the caves are fully perfect and phenomenally built, there will be quite a bit of inconsistencies. Like the type 1 and 2 ice textures mashing together. This unfortunately can't be easily resolved for maximum consistency. There is a tedious way with worldspace edits, might do that over time.
