Update 2.1.2 - fixed ice pillar size issue being incorrect. - Optimized 18 meshes - Improved interior performance by up to 3-4 FPS WIP: some of the counter meshes do not fully have remapped UVs so this may introduce some seams between them. Once I'll get to some other meshes, this should lessen certain seams. i hope Though the seams already exist in vanilla so it wont be that much different. Update 2.1.3 - crash fix - minor fixes to other collisions that could be problematic - added one missing collision Update 2.1.4 - fixed a bad collision for a ceiling mesh Update 2.1.5 - Optimized and remodeled 7 meshes
Keep in mind that this is optimizing vanilla meshes, which means that by default this mod is technically becoming more FPS friendly than without it.
Can't for the life of me figure out why the edges of certain spots on cliffs and cave openings are purple like. I have the mod isntalled correctly and nothing is overwriting it. even according to asset doctor it's correctly displaying am I missing something? https://imgur.com/a/xECp1w7
I have used both 2.38 and 2.41of Icy Mesh Remaster, IceLODFull.esp and IceLOD.esp should Not conflict with ICRFixes, I have done some extensive conflict resolution inside xEdit 4.1.5f with my Wabbajack modlist, these mods don't seem to conflict as far as I can tell, so load order should not matter.
but If it does cause conflict for some reason, i would use this load order:
ICRFixes IceLOD.esp or IceLODFull.esp (as Icy Mesh Remaster is actively being updated by the same author)
These should be un-deleted and initially disabled with the zPos @ -30000 + Set Enable State to Opposite of Parent flags, as deleted references can cause CTD.
Read your comment here, can you explain how to undelete the references a bit more detailed? I have no clue what your talking about, I am not very experienced with xEdit but it seems important to do this to avoid CTD.
I'm a bit late to the party, but if you're still looking for a response: run ICRFixes.esp through SSEEditQuickAutoClean. The magic of that tool does exactly the steps ReTr0TeK described in his post.
Please help. Parallax textures from other mods work, but for some reason these textures doesn't have parallax. I have installed performance and merged the updated meshes. In MO2 left pane ICR wins all conflicts as follows:
SMIM UV Tweaks (2023 Cut) Skyland Underground dungeon texture overhaul Underground Parallax addon Skyrim Remastered - Caves Lux Mesh patches for Lux and Lux Orbis Icy Cave Remaster
I have exactly the same issue. To me, it seems that Skyrim Remastered and this mod do the same things, meaning they mutually exclude each other (thus are incompatible). From my testing, Skyrim Remastered would randomly stop working when paired with ICR.
I just want to make sure on something. The description states to overwrite this mod with anything that conflicts. Does that include even SMIM. If so, that is rare.
ENB (also community shaders, but I’m not sure) is needed for Parallax to work. So if you don’t have it, mod still should work and look fine. Parallax is to make textures look more… natural and kinda dimensional I don’t have Parallax in my ENB set up, and there’s no issue. Looks great
this is a great, the issue is The Cliffs in caves have SMIMICe variants and with this mod installed the snow doesnt show up and the only existing thing is the snowtrim

SMIM
UV Tweaks (2023 Cut)
Skyland
Underground dungeon texture overhaul
Underground Parallax addon
Skyrim Remastered - Caves
Lux
Mesh patches for Lux and Lux Orbis
Icy Cave Remaster
sad to say that there is just no matching textures for this in Icy caves with normal Caves
If you go to places like bleakcoast cave, the seams will be so obvious with the normal caves texture...
The only way to fix this is use vanaheimer Cave + Mines to make it blend well
I don’t have Parallax in my ENB set up, and there’s no issue. Looks great
