Is there a way to get the icons working for the inventory menus? For example, if I select the celtic incons, they only popup in the container menu, not in the inventory / magic menus
Well for all that are struggling with this: I can't get rid of the dependencies requirement (other than choosing to ignore) and now I get Error Code 1 when I try to run skyrim. Cant get it to run in game, says it needs SKSE to be running adn you can't do anything.... So the fix was to close skyrim, ignore the compatibility warning that pops up in Vortex and remove that(or click ignore etc), then off we go! Odd issue but that is an easy fix that nobody seems to have posted about (i guess most people just ignore that and don't see it issue!)
i cant even manually get rid of the dependencies requirement in vortex, why would you do this! i don't want to see an error every time i look at my mods
please get rid of the requirement for the mod to use skse as a master when i have the vr version of script extender installed, it's very annoying vortex is telling me i am missing the master
gooooooooood I wish this got the updated Skyui crafting menu.. I saw it was much more organized and not just a cluttered mess.. unless if I was just looking at something else but what I saw was glorious
Can't get skyui vr to work. I'm using vortex. Installed sksevr 2.0.11 & skyvr tools. Run skyvr using skse loader exe. That runs ok. I add skyuivr in vortex, it has a conflict saying install skse. I run sksevr loader, and skyui vr window in game says skse isnt running. I manually dl latest sksevr 2.0.12 and skyuivr from respective dev sites. Use vortex to import the zips after purging old versions, get same issue w skyuivr saying sksevr isnt running when i still use sksevr loader to run. At a dead end here, bc not sure what im doing wrong. watched tut vid, and did what cagan showed. Am i missing something?
Hello, can you please add a toggle option to change back to the original menu on the front for us, but still process like skyui in background for the mods? I really, really, really miss the old interface but don't see an option to change it back other than disable the mod... Possibly change the order to reflect same whereas the gear, favorites, all etc is on the left side like the original? A TOGLE switch perhaps to flip? something to make it like the old menu
The trading from one person/chest trade/seller is impossible to get to on far left? as double tap but can wrap around right? with a drift controller stick, small writing (need a large and x large) and possible font change is needed. I miss the old Vanilla interface but all mods depend on this one.. Any alternatives? mod shells>? updates or menu items im missing? Thanks.
Here is a detailed Fix to change skyui back to Vanilla UI without affecting mods that use Skyui vr. how to change it back to the old vanilla UI MENU for Nexus users:
You need to delete some files (I stored them on desktop just in case) The files you need to delete are located in: the game folder itself, not the mod folder. its accessable in your game directory so c: \The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim VR go into Data folder (you will see bindings, data, src) go into Interface folder (you will see music, meshes, readmes, etc) in interface you see folders exported, skyui (dont go in here) translations, etc.. below that you see quest_Journal Leave that one alone. that is dependant on the mod menu access inside its button you get to save, quit game etc.. the language files i left alone Translate----lang-- The deleted (or moved case it didnt work) were: bartermenu containermenu craftingmenu giftmenu inventorymenu magicmenu then just loaded up like usual. went into skyui mcm meu and unchecked all the boxes for the same, so no error messages show up in game. (there wont be any) BAM!! VANILLA MENU, TRADING, STORAGE ETC IT'S ALL BACK THE WAY IT WAS, only for Vr. stoked. Thanks all for the help in this. I guess I was dense and needed a small bit of learning. Hope someone can check this out and help them I tested trade with a added follower mod, and it went to the old way too so no conflicts or problems so far. all saves worked. your milage may vary, but i'll call this a win thanks everyone. game on. --wixx
edit; To remove everything this mod changes, yet keeps its framework for other mods such as QuickLootVR, install this mod normally through MO2. Double click it, navigate to the files tab and right click then hide the SkyUI_SE.esp, and then open the Interface folder and right click then hide every .swf file. Barter, Container, Crafting, GiftMenu, Inventory, Magic, Quest. You now have all the requirements for other mods dependent on this, without the UI changes this "MCM" mod for some odd reason makes. The ESP can be reenabled temporarily if needed, to adjust MCM options but it will start spouting errors every time you load a save file. Adjust your MCM settings accordingly, then disable the ESP again. Have fun.
I wish this wasn't a requirement for some mods, or you could revert to a vanilla VR UI. The crafting system UI this mod introduces is awful, the inventory is far to convoluted with information I do not want and it's a shame none of the vanilla UI mods to revert these changes work in VR.

If you're having trouble installing SkyUI, please try following this step to step video: https://youtu.be/UztTtWs0zfQ
Good luck modding!
NO IT DOESNT, IT REQUIRES SKSEVR, get it right!

for Nexus users:
You need to delete some files
(I stored them on desktop just in case)
The files you need to delete are located in:
the game folder itself, not the mod folder.
its accessable in your game directory
so
c: \The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim VR
go into Data folder (you will see bindings, data, src)
go into Interface folder (you will see music, meshes, readmes, etc)
in interface you see folders
exported, skyui (dont go in here) translations, etc..
below that you see
quest_Journal Leave that one alone.
that is dependant on the mod menu access inside its button you get to save, quit game etc..
the language files i left alone Translate----lang--
The deleted (or moved case it didnt work) were:
bartermenu
containermenu
craftingmenu
giftmenu
inventorymenu
magicmenu
then just loaded up like usual.
went into skyui mcm meu and unchecked all the boxes for the same, so no error messages show up in game. (there wont be any)

Can you explain how to do this in Vortex?
like i'm 5.
or teach me how to design a mod to do this very thing or who I need to bug to make one? :)
awesome. there is hope. everything I tried hasn't worked.
