If the plugin isn't loading, make sure you have the latest VC redistributable: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe. If you think you do, try updating anyway. They aren't distributed through Windows updates, but are often packed with programs and are updated along while installing. Can't really do that automatically with a SKSE plugin.
Make sure you do not have old VCRUNTIME140.dll and VCRUNTIME140_1.dll files placed in the game's root folder! If you do, they have priority over the up to date ones from the redistributable installation!
Hey! I might just be dumb but the mod just doesn't work for me. Whenever I boot up skyrim the interface works just fine and it says the animations are loading. But when I go in game none of the animations actually work, despite them being enabled.
I have all the requirements installed, plus the c++ redistributable and I think I did everything right so this is really confusing.. Could anyone help me please?
The menu just infinitely scrolls downwards by itself without me pressing anything. Does anyone know how to fix that? It's unusable this way, I cannot replicate it. it seems to happen at random
I have issues with this mod SKSE won't load it I get (000003E6) error code I'm trying to make it work on my Linux system and I do have all the needed microsoft files, but still is not working.
I am at my wits end on this one here
(Fixed and for anyone who is on linux and wants this mod to work follow these steps)
Okay I finally found it out I installed vc redist with protontricks gui I'll give a quick one here 1. open terminal of your preference 2. Type protontricks --gui 3. Find and select Skyrim SE game and click OK (can just ignore the warnings) 4. Select the default wineprefix 5. Install a Windows DLL or component 6. Find and select vcrun2022 and it'll install it for you
For anyone struggling on linux with this mod, this method fixed it for me. hope this will be helpful for anyone that is running in the same issue as I did.
Thanks a ton, this came in clutch. I'm on Linux too and I already had vcrun2022 installed to my default wine prefix, which I think is supposed to take precedence over any game-specific prefixes. Guess it has to be installed for the game too. Also worked to fix up some other mods that weren't working for me, like Better Third Person Selection and Infinity UI.
For Linux user with "open animation replacer.dll couldn't load plugin "000003e6"' error, this is the easiest solution i found thats work for me. 1. I use MO2 https://github.com/rockerbacon/modorganizer2-linux-installer 2. Download https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe add non-steam game then install through steam with proton will create new folder, copy everything in that folder to your Skyrim perfix folder (something like /steam/steamapps/compatdata/2502772144) 3. Launch MO2 through Skyrim and install mod like normal
i'm using a mod that adds multiple animations for female_idle and it works complete fine, whoever when i interact with a NPC my character (not the npc, my player character) starts cycling through idle poses very fast while i have the dialogue options open, then goes back to normal when i stop talking to the npc, very confused to why this happens considering i have disabled cycle on loop for all the idle custom animations, anyway if anyone knows how to stop this issue
EDIT: turns out it was the mod True Directional Movement that was causing this issue, if anyone finds the same problem, to fix it simply go to TDM's MCM options, directional movement, and disable dialogue mode
I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m at a loss:
I have recently installed MCO and various move sets from it, and all was well. Then, I added in some spears/pikes/etc with animated armoury and spears mechanic SE.
somewhere along the way, great swords started using the wrong animations, but only for SOME great swords. Others use the animations that they should be. I have no clue how to go about solving that issue.
Is the default action limit of this module 32767? How can I adjust the action limit to 65535? Which file should I adjust which location? Is it meta.ini?

You can change the hotkey in the settings menu.
Make sure to also update Paired Animation Improvements if you're going to use any paired animation replacers!
