Going through the mod now, loving this, it adds much more to do in a part of the world that is rather empty, we need more town mods like this that integrate themselves into the world. The only improvement I hope this gets is some proper voice acting, the AI works, but there is a lack of emotion that a real voice would produce and the voices are rather robotic. Not everyone needs acting, but at least quest dialogue from the new npcs.
Otherwise it is perhaps your best mod if not one of the best mods that 'just adds a new settlement'. A real shame this doesn't have more endorsements.
hi, does anyone know if this is compatible with 'Imperial Stone-The Forts of Skyrim Redone'? I've been searching around but haven' been able to get a clear answer.
By the way I love all your mods, makes my skyrim feel so much more alive.
I am having issues with one of the quests. The one with Bashnag and the Black Book.
Bashnag is dead and the Book is stuck on his enchanting table. I can read it but can not pick it up. Since it's a Black Book, do I need certain milestones from the Dragonborn DLC to be reached so I can interact with it?
Same issue on 2 separate characters, both newly created.
Great mod! I was sent to the Chapel to send the Thalmor Agent packing, but I saw a dialogue option that I hadn't scrolled down in the dialogue window low enough before. Out of curiosity I clicked on it, and I have to find and kill some guy somewhere in the SW Rift but the quest marker is only showing the initial quest Mere Man and the Duchess's location... I ran around the Rift looking in places where someone might be, but I didn't find the Elf.. where about is he hiding? I even went into Riften to check in Helga's Bunkhouse and the Ragged Flagon... I didn't see any other posts here that asked this question about this quest but I only went two pages down...
Description page says this mod adds 18 quests (which, holy cow- that's impressive!) and that 14 of them start in the new town. Where do the remaining 4 start?
If you run around the Falkreath area west of Lakeside Manor and Helgen area, you'll see a new farm, talk to farmer if you haven't visited Neugrad yet. North and East of the cave that leads to Ancients Ascent you'll find an Orc camp, retrieve one of the Orcs' staff and that gets you in good with them if you haven't been to Neugrad yet. The farm and the Orc camp are part of the mod and you'll end up at both of these locations from the town anyways, but if you stumble upon them through exploration, they'll send you there. Just two off the top of my head...
Your small town mods look great, but I decided not to use any of them. I understand that they are too big to be ESLs, but spending 12 ESP slots to add in a few small villages just doesn’t work for my game. Would it be possible le to combine the files in to a single ESP?
I've been able to use the earlier (2048 record max) ESPFE Follower xEdit script to ESL-ify a few of these town mods.
Then with the new expanded ESL range (4096 record max) and BEES (I'm on 1.5.97), there are even more mods than can be converted to ESP-FE. So you can get back a good number of slots. Be careful using the Cell Free script, there can be issue if another mod overwrites a new cell but so far I haven't had many issues.
Mate I run with 1000 installed mods and still am only at 212 ESPs. I use several of Schlitzohr's mods. Just get better at identifying what could be merged and ESLified...
It would be kind (for novices like us) to make an AIO of Schiltzor's differents mods in order to gain plugin slots. I'm pretty sure a good half of users would be relieved to not have to "merge" or other tricky things...
Quests really bring this place to life. Always loving your settlements. Joy to explore. Encountered small bugs tho, NPCs don't take away the item they asked for, like Courier doesn't take the dagger, Osette - potato sack and Justicar - Amulet of Talos. And Roscram fights with Sellsword, when you approach the Sanctum, I just disabled Sellsword in front of Sanctum and everything went well - was able to walkthrough peaceful solution.
Roscram attacks me on site when I approach Southfringe Sanctum, and all of the spellswords (including Bashnag) are hostile. I'm pretty sure that this is a mod conflict and not a bug, but has anyone else encountered similar issues? The only other mod I have that I've confirmed to alter Bashnag is MLU, and I'm making sure that this is below that in my load order.
I actually did a bit more digging around and it turns out MLU ALSO adds a new NPC (Milene Jor) to southfringe, who doesn't get the new spellsword faction attributed to her.
All I can think of is that since nobody else is her faction in there, she lashes out and auto-fails the peaceful option, or her instant aggro does the same thing. I'm gonna try switching her faction to see if that works.

Totally agree... plugin space is tight. and though your mods rule, 12 is just too much to accommodate :(

It's simple and help a lot...
