About this mod
A resource of 24 Precious Metal CubeMaps for use with custom armors like the armors in BDOR's Nova Pack, or DX's armors. CubeMap textures only. NifScope edit your favorite custom armor and simply replace its metal cubemap (usually has an '_e' appended to its name) with one of these. Most custom armors have multiple meshes req. the change as well.

If you've ever wanted to have one or more of the awesome custom armors made by DX (DeserterX) or BDOR from his Patreon page in a different color, tint, or shade, then these CubeMaps are for you. This is my personal collection I started years ago and update from time to time, and I decided to finally share them. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in the desire to further customize things to my tastes. I've included a jeweler's reference .jpeg of rings made out of various precious metals. It is the same reference I used as a guide for making these cubemaps. It's also in the showcase pictures above near the end.
Black Gold, Copper, Dark Gold, Ebony, Lydia's Daedric Ebony, Rose Gold, Sterling Silver Blue, Green and Red, and Vlad are my own concepts without reference.
These cubemaps were not made for vanilla armors. With that being said, they may or may not work with some vanilla armor. Use your own discretion. They work very well for custom armors with high-quality normals that support a good shine and gloss. The showcase pictures really do not do them justice at all. In-game they unbelievably pop very well with the motion of you or your follower moving around.
This mod is intended as a modders resource and contains only the cubemap textures, nothing more. So some assembly is required on your part to use them. Use NifScope to edit your favorite custom armor's metal cubemap, replacing it with one of these. There are 3 guide pictures among the showcase of cubemap metal types above for those new to this.
